About

Kia ora,

I'm Ben Bonné, an aspiring secondary school teacher with a passion for creating meaningful change in our local, national, and global communities. I believe that today's educators must embody authenticity, adaptability, inclusivity, knowledge, innovation and an unwavering passion to empower our next generation of tamariki for greatness.

📚 Currently, I'm completing my Honours Degree in History at the University of Auckland. Following completing my Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2023, majoring in History and Sociology, I received a scholarship to pursue my Honours. As a dedicated enthusiast of lifelong learning, I gratefully embraced this opportunity to deepen my knowledge in history, and conduct research at postgraduate level.

💼 Outside of my academic journey, I serve as the elected Postgraduate Student Officer for the Auckland University Student Association for 2024. This role involves being part of the AUSA Executive Student Leadership team, where we work together to enhance student experiences across the University of Auckland, whilst sitting on various university committees as student representatives.

🤝 I'm excited about the opportunity to combine my academic knowledge, advocacy experience, and passion for education to inspire and guide the future leaders of tomorrow. Let's work together to build a brighter and more inclusive future for all.

Feel free to connect with me—I'm always open to meaningful connections and collaborations.

Nga mihi nui,
Ben Bonné (He/Him)
