I look back at this picture of me at the ‘Pretty Place Chapel’ up in the mountains and am not sure why I have never shared it. This is not a projector or a green screen, this in fact was the most breathtaking and surreal view that I have ever laid eyes on. At the time I didn’t understand the significance of this picture but now as I look at it, I see it so clear. The things that God has worked on in my life has been unthinkable, unimaginable, almost close to impossible but yet it has still happened for me. God changed everything in my life, starting with my heart. The blessings i’ve experienced this past year have been a beautiful thing and I refuse to ever take a single breath or day for granted. God’s plan will always override the enemy’s plot. Keep praying, even if you only have a whisper left. Be excited by his forgiveness, not depressed by your mistakes in life. For the longest time I thought I had to have all the answers in my life, but I have learned it is okay to not have all the answers because God’s got me. Remember you are loved and there is always time for change 🤍 #godisgood

This cover of “Save Me” by Jelly Roll is so near and dear to my heart and very personal for me. This was the first time I ever recorded myself singing this song and thought the more Raw it was, the more Real it would be. Last year this time, I could relate to every word in this song. I was living in a personal Hell, my mental health was completely in the gutter, I wasn’t taking care of myself physically or spiritually, everything was falling apart. That is the reality of life. All we see on social media is the “Good” parts of people’s lives, nobody wants to talk about the “Ugly” or “Hard” parts in life. Personally, I could talk about those parts all day long with you. I am not ashamed or embarrassed; If anything, I am so grateful for those times in my life because they have prepared me for my purpose in life. I hope to continue to help others who have been through their own personal Hell. Sometimes the prison we live in is right between our ears. I am so thankful for the life I live today, it isn’t perfect; but it is a blessing. If you are struggling and need a helping hand, my dm’s are always open. I will always talk about the real stuff that life throws at us. Not everyday is a Great Day but I promise you, there IS something Great in EveryDay. God is so Good and Faithful. Being able to go to my grandma’s nursing home and just sit, and play the piano for her like she once did, is something I will forever cherish. I am so grateful I have the opportunity to use music to sooth and help others, especially the elderly. 🤍 thankful . Take a step back and look at all the beautiful things you have in your life. Love you all < 3

This past year has been all about being the best version of myself that I could possibly be. Who truly is Karlie Harman, for the longest time I wasn’t sure. With that being said, I have obtained a great understanding about a few in life : - The only person in life you should try to beat is the person you were yesterday. - It’s OK to not have everything figured out. Understand that in time, you will get there. - Never ruin a good day by thinking about a bad yesterday. - Don’t listen to other people. Live a life that’s empowering to YOU. - Everything heals with time. - Only YOU are in charge of your happiness. - Life is short. Enjoy what you have, while you have it. - Everyone’s journey is different, DON’T compare. - The only time you ever fail is if you quit.
