Eric, American political system is infected to its core. Once again humans are experiencing when money becomes god like during Babylonians. We are not going to live and see the end of US empire but that will happen for sure. For most Americans Zionism as a toxic ideology is not a problem. For them Zionism means only Israel and its savage behavior. The future of humanity is dependent on East.
