Meta and NVIDIA may be trying to position themselves at the forefront of the artificial intelligence, but both companies have been dogged by potentially costly investor lawsuits for years-old stock drops.
In separate cases set to be heard by the U.S. Supreme Court this fall, the tech giants have filed briefs urging the justices to close the “floodgates” of securities lawsuits the companies claim have been opened by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
