- Here's what I did before Quicksilver came to: I had a discussion with Rune, us settling on apologizing to Quicksilver, as well as us exchanging various information about our trip so far. I had told Rune about that Striker fusion, about Lazenn, and about evil psychic Omicron and his cronies from another timeline. Rune frowned at that last one, muttering, "So that was why I was sent... " before trailing off. I told Rune about the most recent shard event against Ark'thugal as well, before Quicksilver woke up and arrived here.
- The reason that there isn't anyone else in Hero Squad who can heal me is simple: I heal myself. Considering the fact that I was in a rush of sorts to grab that shard from Eranikus before more bad things like that Striker fusion's powerups happened, and I was overly optimistic on the ability of the shard warp to heal off the damage, I may have neglected to heal myself as actively as I should have. This is something I am going to fix, now. I don't exactly have the luxury of passively waiting and healing, so I'll just heal actively.
- Past Zeta here has basically no idea of what my combat capabilities are, so I left a clone "shell" of myself out here while the main me warps underground to get some more metal to eat and recover with. There isn't a hell of a lot of metal here in Sunrise Village aside from the odd metal tool, and while there is a deposit or two of metal here underground, it isn't exactly plentiful. Still though, I'll take what I can get.
- More interestingly is the fact that there is a boundary here for this Zeta shard event. I discovered this both by having my clone up top grab civilians and move them out, and by main me digging under the village. The boundary is a bit beyond the village edge, where there's simply nothing beyond it. Space and time just kinda... stop. Anyone outside the boundary is unreachable, so my attempts to drag the civilians to Bloodriver, Gamma, or Orbin weren't possible.
- Also something not possible was attempting to contact Omega and draw his attention by making a huge message of plasma in the air along the lines of "OMEGA, HELP US WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" and then using my best imitation of Adaptrix's DIMENSION CLEAVING BLADE by waving it in the air so Omega could find us.
- Anyways, the boundary was a bit jagged, but mostly round. I quickly got all the metal that I could underground and then focused on actively healing off the damage. Rune is up top and should be able to confront Zeta directly and buy me some time to heal up to some degree. Regarding the repair nanites that Quicksilver gave me... ugh. I really do not like relying on shady external sources to heal myself if possible, but again, I don't exactly have the luxury of waiting around too much. I don't expect much from these repair nanites though since external sources of healing in general aren't as effective on me as on others.
- So with some reluctance and with some trepidation, I used the repair nanites by consuming the glass vial, making sure to keep the glass vial intact to put at least a few nanites back later for further inspection and study. I also used this chance to study the nanites like I studied the nanites from Silver Scythe and the MP Metals, making sure to block the signals from the nanites that would attempt to connect with the Colony.
- I monitored the repair nanites and my body, intent on shutting the nanites down if they did something odd. At the same time, my clone up top (only one clone for now, I don't want Zeta to know about my cloning ability yet and want him to think that the clone is the real me for now) was evacuating the civilians. Quicksilver was also evacuating the civilians, having been asked by Rune to check on the status of those people, if any, inside those ruined buildings, and to evacuate them, prioritizing the wounded.
