I wrote this book to explore debates within American Jewish life, which of course includes many people who identify as Zionists. My biggest worry was about synagogues not wanting to host me. I didn't think it would be bookstores in Brooklyn that would be closing their doors.

It's funny that having BOTH of the working hypotheses of your entire work refuted right at launch won't cause you to reconsider your analysis at all.

Well, I'm ordering it and will publish a review (in French). From a Zionist point of view of course, but in a brotherly Jewish spirit. We shouldn't add to the abuse we receive from outside.
