Press TV informs us that the Ofrit SIGINT Israeli/American NSA surveillance operation in Occupied Al Quds is on Martin Buber Street.
This information reminded me of the time at Valparaiso University, America’s leading “Lutheran” university, when I was taking a theology/philosophy course from one of the leading apostate professors on campus in the 1970s.
He was lecturing on Buber’s magnum opus, “I and Thou.” Out of nowhere he called on me in class to interact with Buber’s famous quote:
“The world is not comprehensible, but it is embraceable: through the embracing of one of its beings.”
I responded with “Since you’re asking, I think this guy needs to get seriously laid.”

A couple of hundred students cheered.
I dropped the course in the nick of time.
