About

I am an undergraduate BCom student at the University of Auckland majoring in finance and economics. I have a strong interest in businesses that make a marked positive impact environmentally and socially while remaining profitable and practical.

Working at Milly’s Kitchen Store has allowed me to gain first-hand insight into the intricacies of running a retail business. I worked to develop customer relationships and technical knowledge of products through supplier training, so I could assist customers' decision-making process. The training has allowed me to emphasise the sustainability of well-made products that last and are repairable to customers. Assisting the buyer with setting up new products and bulk updates in Cin7 was a new skill set I also got to develop, which needed particular attention to detail. It was my first time using this software which required me to have a willingness to learn and resilience.


I want to apply the technical skills and experience I gain to allow me to make a meaningful difference environmentally and socially.
