Description of the Service
The MapleCloud service being offered by Maplesoft is designed primarily as a means of sharing Maplesoft-related content, including, but not limited to, Maple worksheets and packages.
Use of service by you
Content authors agree to adhere to the Terms of Service outlined here, our Maplesoft End-User License Agreement (EULA), and any applicable laws, regulations or generally accepted practices or guidelines of their countries. For user-created groups, where available, the group moderator can remove any content at his/her discretion. For all content, whether it was submitted in a public or private group, Maplesoft reserves the right to remove inappropriate content. Maplesoft is the sole judge of what is deemed inappropriate. Maplesoft assumes no liability as a result of any usage of content found within the MapleCloud service. By sharing content in the MapleCloud, content authors give permission for all MapleCloud users who have access to that content to use it in the MapleCloud and in their Maplesoft products for non-commercial purposes. Users are responsible for any copyright pertaining to the content they post. Users understand that all information accessed through the MapleCloud is the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. Users may use the content for non-commercial purposes only, unless explicit permission is obtained from the author. Users cannot use or redistribute other people's content from their website or other sources without proper permissions. Users of the MapleCloud are not to post material outside this scope. Users agree to be bound by the terms of the End-User License Agreement for all Maplesoft products. The Terms of Service apply to public and private groups.
Content in the Service
Content authors agree to not post malicious content to the MapleCloud that interferes or disrupts the proper functioning of the MapleCloud service or any other users' computers. Content authors acknowledge and agree that Maplesoft may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing any of the features in the MapleCloud at Maplesoft's sole discretion without prior notice to users. Shared content stored on the MapleCloud server will be kept for an appropriate period of time, as determined by Maplesoft, before it is deleted.
Proprietary rights
By submitting, posting or displaying content in a public group through this service, you give Maplesoft a non-exclusive license to use, modify, adapt, and distribute that content for Maplesoft promotional activities only. Possible uses include, but are not limited to, using your content as part of product demonstration or sales presentation, or including screenshots of your content in promotional materials. If you do not want your content to be used in this way, you may opt out by contacting Maplesoft at privacy@maplesoft.com. New activities involving your content will cease within 10 business days of the receipt of the request. Promotional materials created before the change takes effect may continue to be used by Maplesoft.
