Today, August 14, Google demonetized for all Russia based content creators.

Youtube is owned by Google, so the demonetization includes YouTube videos.

On August 12 Russia-based publishers were notified by Google their monetization of content with AdSense, AdMob, and Ad Manager was being suspended. That took effect on August 14.

Google Adsense accounts were allowing Russian creators to monetize their YouTube content with superchats, superstickers and paid memberships.

Google's demonetization covers more than just YouTube. Any Russia based website will no longer receive Adsense payments for clicks on advertisements.

The U.S. government is undoubtedly behind Google's demonetization that is targeted at financially hurting Russian Internet creators who rely on that income. It is part of the United State's decades long effort to destabilize Russia to force the installing of a regime in the Kremlin that is subservient to the dictates of Washington DC.
