I was really frustrated on the 2d game, trying to get through, but once i did and explored until i came here, god it was so worth it

Its really heartwarming knowing that yume nikki a game released so long ago caused so much beauty to be created...and even better the fact that all of us yume 2kki players come together and simply enjoy our passion...I am sorry if this rambling of mine sounds random...I simply felt the urge to write this here...to all fellow dream delvers let us all enjoy yume 2kki for a long time to come ^^

It was already pretty cool to see a VVVVVV esque platformer, which is already one of my favorite nostalgic games, but finding areas like these right after was just as beautiful and fun. I love Yume Nikki, but Yume 2kki manages to hit me in the feels personally in a more modern manner which I feel connects deep to me emotionally.

Came across this and vending machine factory (balcony part) by accident, and just learned they’re both made by the same artist. God the atmosphere and feels are just so right. ️️️️️
