Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro slammed the EU while speaking in Caracas on Sunday, describing the bloc and its foreign policy chief Josep Borrell as a 'disgrace' after it raised 'serious concerns' about 'the growing number of detentions' following the Venezuelan president's election victory.

"Borrell is a disgrace; he is a disgrace that led Ukraine to war and now washes his hands, that remains silent in the face of the Gaza massacre and the genocide..., And now says that in Venezuela there is repression of peaceful demonstrations."Maduro said.
