Today was my personal milestone as I delivered a workshop called Machine Intelligence for Researchers at AI4AM2024 conference showing how to apply the recent technologies and the platform, developed by Constructor Tech, to research in material science. My talk was right after the Round Table "Future of Materials" with such specialists as Andrea Ferrari, Stephan Roche, Andrey Ustyuzhanin and Laurent Dedenis, moderated by Konstantin Novoselov, a brilliant scientist and Nobel Laureate known for introducing graphene, a revolutionary material. To be honest, I am at loss of words in front of all the possibilities provided by Artificial Intelligence in every single area of life, and amazed by current opportunities our generation has. AI is certain to become an integral part of our daily routines and work. I feel that choosing this field has been one of the best decisions of my life. 🌟 I had an amazing time attending Women in Data Science (WiDS) Zurich conference! The event was packed with inspiring talks starting from "The Science of Measuring your Sleep" by Heli Koskimäki till Legal Multi-Label Classification by Stavroula (Laura) Skylaki. This time I was able to attend them all 💪 It was also hard to choose between all the workshops, but I finally ended up with Aamna Najmi and the topic of Professional Growth. Thanks a lot for your insights, there is a lot to learn from your experience! As usual, we had fantastic networking opportunities: It was great to see the old friends and meet the new ones! This year was special because Constructor Academy sponsored the event, which opened the door to many insightful conversations for Carol Fuzzard and me at our booth. We discussed the current state of data science and AI, and noticed a lot of interest in our flagship courses, particularly Data Science and Mastering Generative AI. A huge thank you to all the organizers, and of course, Zuzana Dostálová for your enormous responsibility of being the president this time, and speakers for making it such a memorable experience.
