While athletes from around the world are competing at the #Olympics2024, Hezbollah is murdering the next generation of Israeli athletes. A group of children enjoying life’s simple pleasures was murdered in cold blood when a Hezbollah rocket hit the soccer field in the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights, killing 11 and injuring dozens more.
“This attack shows the true face of Hezbollah—a terrorist organization that targets and murders children playing soccer on a Saturday evening.” Watch the IDF Spox. RAdm. Daniel Hagari give remarks regarding the deadliest attack on Israel since October 7:
From the analysis of the IDF's operational systems, the rocket launch at the center of Majdal Shams was carried out from an area located north of the village of Chebaa in southern Lebanon. According to reliable intelligence information in the possession of the IDF, Hezbollah is behind the attack.
The Hezbollah terrorist organization is behind the rocket launch at a soccer field in Majdal Shams which caused multiple civilian casualties, including children, earlier this evening. According to an IDF situational assessment and the intelligence in our possession, the rocket launch toward Majdal Shams was carried out by the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
Hezbollah fired approx. 40 projectiles toward northern Israel during 3 separate barrages. A hit was identified in the area of Majdal Shams during one of these barrages. The IDF, in cooperation with the MDA, are at the scene, evacuating those injured.

Due to significant terrorist activity and rocket fire toward the State of Israel from the southern area of Khan Yunis, remaining in this area has become dangerous. Accordingly, at this time, the area will be adjusted. The adjustment is being carried out in accordance with precise intelligence indicating that Hamas has embedded terrorist infrastructure in the area defined as a Humanitarian Area. The early warning to civilians is being made in order to mitigate harm to the civilian population and keep civilians away from areas of combat. The IDF is about to forcefully operate against the terrorist organizations and therefore calls on the remaining population left in the southern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis to temporarily evacuate to the adjusted Humanitarian Area in Al-Mawasi. The calls for the temporary evacuation are being communicated to residents through SMS messages, recorded voice messages, phone calls, media broadcasts in Arabic and flyers. The IDF will continue to act against the Hamas terrorist organization, which uses the Gazan civilians as a human shield for its terrorist activities and infrastructure.
Some people have pools in their backyards. Hamas terrorists prefer attack tunnels. Our troops just dismantled a one-kilometer-long Hamas attack tunnel that had an exit located inside a residential area in Beit Lahia. Inside the tunnel, we found anti-tank missiles, electrical infrastructure and means for a long-term hideout.
Operational Activity Continues in Gaza: 📍Khan Yunis: IDF troops eliminated approx. 100 terrorists, including 7 terrorist cells who fired mortars toward IDF troops during combat in the area. 📍Rafah: The IAF struck and eliminated several terrorists who were identified operating in the area. Troops also located tunnel shafts and weapons, including long-range rocket launchers and explosives in the area of Tel as Sultan. Additionally, the IAF struck approximately 45 terrorist targets, including terrorist cells, tunnel shafts, military structures, and 2 launch pits used to fire toward southern Israel during the war.
The bodies of the 5 hostages that were rescued by the IDF during operational activity in Khan Yunis yesterday, were recovered underneath an area that was previously part of the Humanitarian Area. The hostages were being held below an area that was previously designated as a Humanitarian Area by the IDF, an area for Gazan civilians to move away from the battlefield and receive humanitarian aid and shelter. Following the precise intelligence information, the forces located an underground tunnel shaft, leading to a tunnel approximately 200 meters in length and 20 meters deep with several rooms where the hostages were located. This is a further example of how Hamas exploits both the Humanitarian Area and civilians as human shields for their terrorist activities.
“Hamas continues to hold 115 hostages including women and children, Israelis and foreign nationals in brutal conditions inside Gaza. We are determined to use all operational and intelligence means to bring home all our hostages. Any decent country in the world would do the same, and we will continue to fulfill this vital mission.” Listen to an update from IDF Spokesperson RAdm. Daniel Hagari as he addresses the rescue mission in which the IDF recovered the bodies of 5 hostages and brought them back home:
Need more proof that Hamas prioritizes killing Israelis over caring for Gazans? This morning, Hamas launched several rockets toward Israel from a humanitarian area in Khan Yunis that actually ended up hitting the @UNRWA 'Al-Qarara' school. Following the failed launches landing in the area, reports were received regarding the deaths of two civilians and the injuries of multiple others. In coordination with @cogatonline and @WHO , the injured civilians were evacuated to receive initial medical treatment at @IMC_Worldwide field hospital in Dier al Balah.
During an IDF operation led by ISA field analysts and coordinators, the bodies of the murdered hostage Maya Goren, and of the fallen soldiers held captive MSG (Res.) Oren Goldin, SSGT Tomer Ahimas, SGT Kiril Brodski and SGM (Res.) Ravid Aryeh Katz were rescued from the Khan Yunis area. According to reliable intelligence obtained, it was determined that Maya Goren was murdered, and MSG Oren Goldin, SSGT Tomer Ahimas, SGT Kiril Brodski and SGM (Res.) Ravid Aryeh Katz fell in combat during the brutal October 7 attack, and their bodies were abducted into Gaza. The intelligence effort prior to the operation was directed by the ISA and consisted of a combination of intelligence from ISA terrorist interrogations, the IDF Intelligence Directorate Hostages Headquarters and additional sources that contributed to the operation. The IDF and ISA will continue to operate, using all intelligence and operational means necessary, to fulfill the mission of rescuing all of the hostages.
Nightmares can quickly turn into reality for children exploited by Hamas’ terrorist rule in Gaza. Our troops just located a tunnel shaft and weapons inside a child’s bedroom during precise, intelligence-based operations in Rafah. Hamas’ exploitation of civilian infrastructure knows no bounds.

This “medic” is holding an AK-47 and no first aid kit. This video is from Tulkarm showing how these terrorists, dressed as medics, are trying to use their protected status to cause more damage.
Hamas has no remorse for Gazan children, putting them at risk of rocket fire in the name of harming Israeli civilians. Several projectiles were launched yesterday by the Hamas terrorist organization from the area of Maghazi in central Gaza toward Israel. Although the projectiles did not cross into Israeli territory, one of them fell and hit a school in the area of Nuseirat.
Hamas terrorists must have set up some weird settings on their GPS, intentionally directing them to schools and humanitarian aid routes. During recent operational activity in Rafah, our troops operated in a school near a humanitarian route that armed terrorists tried to take over. The troops directed drones that located and eliminated the armed terrorists on the route. In the schoolyard, they located an operational tunnel shaft used by the terrorists. Take a look for yourselves:
Today, the IDF informed the families of the two hostages Alex Dancyg and Yagev Buchshtab that they are no longer alive. Alex and Yagev were brutally abducted into Gaza and their bodies are still being held by Hamas. The confirmation of their deaths comes after thorough intelligence review and expert committee approval of the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Ministry of Religious Services and the Israel Police. The circumstances of their death in Hamas captivity are being examined by all professional authorities. We remain dedicated to gathering information about the hostages in Gaza and we will continue providing support to the families of hostages during this difficult time.
Due to significant terrorist activity and rocket fire toward the State of Israel from the eastern part of the Humanitarian Area in Gaza, remaining in this area has become dangerous. Accordingly, at this time, the Humanitarian Area will be adjusted. The adjustment is being carried out in accordance with precise intelligence indicating that Hamas has embedded terrorist infrastructure in the area defined as the Humanitarian Area. The early warning to civilians is being made in order to mitigate harm to the civilian population and keep civilians away from areas of combat.
