This is incredibly difficult for me to say. I love Hex, and for his sake I stayed in my corner and did art for him. But I'm also aware that I'm one of the bigger voices in the community, and I've been getting dozens of DMs from terrified Sicklings, and I need to make my position clear. This is no longer about differing opinions or "not everyone can be friends." This is about an organized ring of cyberbullying that has been targeting people in the fandom for more than a year. I personally have been harassed and doxed multiple times on multiple platforms by these people. This has gone far beyond the point of "block them and move on." We have done that, and by their own admittance they use alt accounts to get around it and continue their harassment campaigns. This is not a case of "I can't do anything about it because it's on Twitter," because they use chat to decide who to target. Being an active Sickling is not safe, and apparently it hasn't been for a long time. This cannot be dismissed as petty infighting any longer. It's very serious with very real legal implications. There is REAL DANGER for those targeted because they have our personal information. I made a promise to Hex that I would stay. But he also made a promise that his streams would be safe for his community. I am devastated and have cried myself sick over this. This is so much bigger than I ever thought it could be and I'm overwhelmed. I have no advice for the dozens of scared Sicklings in my DMs. I don't even know what *I'm* going to do. To all the good beans out there, I love you, and I'm sorry I couldn't help protect you. #HexHaywire #Sicklings
