1. History. 131 SATA Regt was raised on 01 Oct 2015 in Rajasthan. The Regt was christened "KONARK STAR GAZERS" by Lt Gen Bobby Mathews, the then GOC, 12 Corps. After successful completion of tenure the unit moved to North East.

2. Operations Participated. Op Rhino.

3. Achievements in Sports. AV (DMV) Ajay won Silver Medal in Senior National Wrestling Championship (WFI) with effect from 29 Jan 2024 to 31 Jan 2024 at Pune, Maharashtra and Silver Medal in Army Inter Command Wrestling Championship 2023-24 held at JAT Regimental Centre, Bareilly with effect from 27 Nov 2023 to 29 Nov 2023.
