Anthony Paul Hayden, QC, has been appointed a Justice of the High Court, assigned to the Family Division, with effect from July 31, 2013, on the elevation of Mrs Justice Macur to the Court of Appeal. Mr Hayden, 52, was called to the Bar (M) in 1987 and took Silk in 2002. He was appointed a recorder in 2000 and is approved to sit as a deputy High Court Judge.
Julian Nicholas Goose, QC, has been appointed a senior circuit judge (resident judge), assigned to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Sheffield Combined Court Centre, with effect from July 2, 2013.
