Why do the Talmudic Jews fear Orthodox Christian monarchy
During the reign of Ivan IV (named ‘the Terrible’ by historians) the entry of Jewish merchants into Russia was completely prohibited.
In 1550, when the Catholic Polish king Sigismund Augustus ‘demanded’ that Jews be allowed free entry into Russia, Tsar Ivan refused with the following words:
"In my state, Jews are not allowed to travel, because in my state, we do not wish to see any evil, and we want God to grant my people a peaceful existence without any disturbance.
And you, our brother, should no longer write to us about the Jews, because they were leading Russian people away from Christianity, bringing poisonous herbs into our lands, and committing many misdeeds against our people.”
