BREA – Roy Moore, who served on the City Council for 16 years including time as mayor, died Wednesday from cancer. He was 80.
Moore was diagnosed with leukemia in February, just a couple of months after he left the council.
“He’s always been the patriarch of our family,” said Deanna Moore, Roy’s wife of 54 years. “He’s always been there for anybody in the family. Any problem – financial or emotional . . .
