Chapter Text

Despite knowing Jotaro for more than half of his life and dating ever since high school, he had never meet his family. Most of the time whenever he asked Jotaro just changed the subject. But there was one time Kakyoin asked if his family was Homophobic and he had said no. When he asked again he just gave him his well known 'good grief..' and ignored him. But this all changed the night he got a phone call.

TURURURURURU

Kakyoin heard the living room phone ringing through out the house.

TURURURURURU

Kakyoin walked down stairs to his and Jotaros shared living room.

TURURUR-

"Hello?" kakyoin said after picking up the phone.

He heard a "Hey Jotaro! So are you coming to the meet up?"

"Uh.." Kakyoin was confused on what to say but then finally came to conclusion. "Uh- No this isnt Jotaro.."

The voice was silnet and only after a few seconds it pipped back up, "Oh! You must be Kakyoin then!"

Kakyoin was suprised that the stranger knew who he was. He felt uncomfortable so he asked.

"Im Jonathan Joestar! Jotaros older brother!" The voice said happily.

and holy shit does Jotaro have a lot of explaining to do.

"Do we really have to go?"

"Yes."

"So we cant turn back?"

"No."

"What about-" Kakyoin was done. He WAS going to meet the other joestars.

"I dont see the problem with them! Why dont you want me to meet them??" He was really pissed since Jotaro was hiding FOUR siblings from him as well as an adopted child.

Jotaro went silent finally starting to speak after a few seconds. "Its not like i dont want you to meet them. Its just. uh," Jotaro gripped the car wheel. "They're just kinda uh.. I just dont want them to drive you away or something."

Kakyoins eyes and facial expression softened. All Jotaro wanted was Kakyoin to stay. Though he was still pissed just not as much.

It stayed silent for awhile until Kakyoin realized that he needed to use the restroom.

"Theres a gas station coming up," started Jotaro. "We can stop by there and also get snacks." Kakyoin nodded. He looked at Iggy who was sleeping in his lap. Kakyoin would try his best not to wake him up while getting out the car even though it would most likely fail.

"We're here." Jotaro mumbled.

Kakyoin unbuckled his seat belt and gave Iggy to Jotaro. "You can stay here, Ill get the snacks." Jotaro nodded but got out the car as well. They where running out of gas. while he was waiting, he decided to get on his phone.

Jotaro: You guys better behave or else im never bringing him again.

Jonathan: Dont worry! we'll be on our best behavior!

Jolyne: Yeah shut the hell up Jotaro, we're nor animals.

Jotaro: Not*

Jolyne: 😔

Josuke: Shut up Dolphen man

Jotaro: Dolphin*

*Josuke has left the chat*

Jotaro finished up and a few minutes later Kakyoin got back to the car.

Jotaro highly doubts his siblings arent going to behave.

Chapter Text

They arrived at a mansion. They get out of the car, Iggy in Kakyoins arms and their lugage in Jotaros. They walk up to the door. 

Kakyoin knocked on the door, reciving a loud bark in return. Kakyoin was nervous but excited. He finally got to meet his boyfriends family. Finally after a minute or so, The door was open. He was greated with a man that looked like a giant. He was even bigger than Jotaro!

Kakyoin was indemidated untill he saw a warm smile on his face. "Hi! Im Jonathan, The oldest and one that you spoke with over the phone." 

Kakyoin didnt know what to say. He just smiled and waved at Jonathan. 

He seemed to notice how uncomfetable Kakyoin was and let him in.

When Kakyoin walked in he was told by Jotaro to follow Jonathan. He was taken to what he assumed was the living room where he saw tons of people gathered. There was another dog there one way bigger than Iggy. The dog was giant like Jonathan, it was white with black spots. Even though it was giant, Kakyoin knew that it was sweet. A gental Giant just like Jonathan. 

Everyone was still talking and nobody took notice to him. That was until Jonathan cleared his throat and all eyes where on them or more spacifically, Kakyoin. 

With so many eyes on him, Kakyoin was starting to question if it was a good idea or not to come. Maybe he should have just taken Jotaros advice and just stayed home maybe he should have-

"HI Im Joesph Joestar!!!!" One yelled in his face. He was Giant too. Kakyoin was starting to think that everyone in the family was just as huge until he was introduced to a guy with a pompadour.

"Joseph stop screaming! Hey im Josuke." Kakyoin couldnt stop staring at his hair. That was until he was caught. "Oh! You must think its cool right?" He smiled.

Kakyoin nodded. Sure it was a strange hair choice but Kakyoin wasnt one to judge. besides, he likes strange.

"Nice! we would have had some problems if you-"

"Shut up Joskue. I highly dobut he wants to hear about you stupid hair." Said a girl siting on the arm of the couch. 

Josuke cleanched his fist. "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY HAIR BITCH??!" he roared.

The girl just brushed him off and got out off her seat. "Dont worry, he gets like that. By the way im Jolyne nice to meet ya." she smiled, ignoring Josuke raging in the back.

Kakyoin was scared that it was going to go to far so he wanted to do somthing about it. "Uh, Josuke. I actually think your hair is really nice! i think its a great choice and suits you well!" he smiled.

And in a second, Josuke was back to normal. "See!! Finally somebody who understands my fasion statement!!"

"Yeah sure lets go with that." Jolyne rolled her eyes with a smile.

Bye this time everyone was laughing, except a child with long blond hair who was staring at him, almost like he was trying to read him.

Jonathan noticed the kid and introduced him. "This is my son, Giorno!" The kid looked nothing like him other thant the color of his eyes. Kakyoin smiled at him but the kid just looked back down at his tablet.

The kid was really strange maybe he just didnt like him. But even then, Kakyoin was gald he came.

Chapter Text

After eating dinner with the Joestars they all sat in the living room.

"So Kakyoin," Jonathan started. "What do you like to do as hobbies ? Im sure we have something you might like here." The gentle giant started.

Kakyoin scratched the back of his head. Would they think different of him if he told them that he likes video games? he might as well go for it. 

"Well.. I really enjoy Video games-"

Josuke seemed to pipe up at that, 

"Video gamer?! You like video games Kakyoin?!" He smiled. 

Kakyoin smiled and nodded.

"Wow Jotaro you picked the right one!!" Josuke exclaimed with a thumbs up. Jotaro just tipped his hat with a smile in return.

"so do you like F-Mega?!" Josuke asked. 

Kakyoins face lit up too and they both started nerding out about their favorite games and making references like 'F-mega!' and 'Select your car!' the whole family watched them with smiles on their faces.

After a while of talking about their favorite video games, Josuke got up and went to his room. after a minute or so he came out with his console.

"Josuke? what are you doing with that?" Asked Jonathan, genuinely confused on why he brought it out. "I thought i told you that you should keep it in your room."

Josuke gave Jonathan puppy eyes. "I know, I know! but can me and Kakyoin play out here, just this once?" he begged.

Jonathan sighed but smiled. "As long as he agrees.

Kakyoin agrees and Josuke sets up the console. Once its all done, he hands Kakyoin a controller and inserts a disc.

The screen is black until showing a stadium while a voice yells "Oh! thats a baseball!" 

Kakyoin eyes lit up for the second time. "Is this the new version? I havent had a chance to see the revamp but i have the original at home!" he fanboyed.

Josukes faced matched Kakyoins in a second. "You have the original?! Oh My God! Isnt it really hard to find and expensive? Whered you get it?!" 

Kakyoin smirked, feeling supierior. "I got it when it first came out, i waited in line all day and night for it!" 

Josuke gawked at how much of a gamer Kakyoin was. How did Jotaro ever get with someone so cool?!

Josuke spent the rest of the evening trying to beat Kakyoin at every game he had.

but,

He was just too good.

Chapter Text

It was around nine. time went by quick while he was playing video games with Josuke. usually he would go to bed later, but the drive really took a tole on him. 

He would go to bed, but first he needed to do his nighttime routine.

Kakyoin knocked in the bathroom door. The light was on but nobody responded. He figured that somebody forgot to turn off the lights.

He opened the door to see the blond joestar, Giorno. Kakyoin was grateful that the child was only messing with his hair and not actually using the bathroom.

The red head quickly shut the door after muttering an apology.

A few seconds later the door was opened slowly. He was met with the blond joestar. Kakyoin was about to apologize again when the other spoke up.

“Mr. Kakyoin..” He muttered

Kakyoin was confused. Was he really that mad? 

Giorno look down to the ground, but continued. 

“Mr. Kakyoin,” He repeated. “I..I think you have really cool hair so.. Uhm can you help me?..” 

Kakyoin was surprised. He thought the kid hated him but here he was, asking him to help him with his hair. 

Kakyoins surprised face soon turned into one with delight.

”Of course!!” He exclaimed.

Giorno stepped aside to let Kakyoin Through. The bathroom was pretty large so it fit both of them. 

The blond soon spoke up. 

“Sorry for asking you to help. I’ve asked Josuke to help but all he does is give me his style, Ive asked Jolyne and mom but they both say my hair looks fine the may it is. And i’ve asked dad but he sucks at doing hair. And let’s not even talk about what Joesph did...” Giorno said but muttered the last part.

After a few minutes of awkward silence and experimenting, Kakyoin finally got a hair style that he thought looked good. 

Three buns in the front and a Braid. 

Although the hair style was strange, Giorno seemed to like it since he ran out of the bathroom with joy. Kakyoin figured that he was probably going to show it off.

Even though it’s the first day, Kakyoin had more fun than he thought he would.

Chapter Text

It was the morning everyone was down in the kitchen enjoying the meal Jonathan and Erina cooked. Chocolate chip pancakes. The two of their cooking combined created something special that was only made for important occasions. That occasion being Kakyoin. 

Everyone was enjoying the morning. Joseph soaking his pancakes with syrup, Jonathan scolding Josuke after catching trying to play on his DS under the table, Jotaro working on his thesis, Jolyne texting her friends, causing Jonathan to stop scolding Josuke only to tell her that its not lady like to have phones at the table, and Giorno coloring a ladybug with his new crayons. Kakyoin just smiled and watched. He loved how the large family interacted with each other. His thoughts were interrupted by a females voice.

"Hey Kak! you haven't had a chance to hang with me! Me and my gang are going shopping at the mall today, How about you tag along!" Said Jolyne with a smile, looking up from her phone. 

Kakyoin smiled back. "That's sounds amazing! I'd love to go hang out with you and your friends. When are we going?" 

Jolyne's smile soon turned into a smirk. 

"Right now."

Once They arrived at the mall, Kakyoin and Jolyne got out the car and Jolyne walked over to a group of people waiting outside of the giant building. Two males one with Pin hair and one with a furry hat with bull horns. And two females, one with black braided locks, and another with a green bob (??) hairstyle and a little boy with blonde curly hair with a cap rested on his head.

"Yo guys!" Jolyne yelled as she waved her hands. Even thought she was already making her way towards them, the girl with green hair rushed towards her.

"Hey Jolyne!" said the girl with a hug smile as she slunk her hand around Jolyne's shoulder and Jolyne returned the favor.

"Whats up Foo?!" Jolyne yelled out with an equally large smile. The both of them walked towards the other group of people with Kakyoin following close behind. Jolyne Unslumped her arm from who Kakyoin identified as "Foo" and went over to greet the woman with black locks with a kiss on the cheek. The girl returned the favor  

Jolyne smiled and faced Kakyoin. 

"Anyways, This is my gang. That green haired chick is Foo Fighters But you can call her Foo or Just F.F." She said Pointing to the energetic green haired girl. She then pointed to the dude with pink hair. "That's my main man Asasui, and the guy next to Him is his boyfriend Wes, but we just Call him Weather Report,The hottie over there is my Girlfriend Hermes." She eyed the girl then continued to explain her group. "and The little shrimp is our friend, Emporio. He likes followin us around but hes still part of the squad." She patted the his back -Maybe a little too hard- and then started to introduce him.

"This is Kakyoin, Jotaros Boyfriend. Jotaro and him are staying at with us for sibling weekend." She explained.

The whole group nodded and they all entered the mall.

After about an hour of walking around Kakyoin they stumbled into a store labeled ‘Gucci’. Kakyoin had never heard of Gucci before so he decided to check it out, Jolyne following him closely behind. 

After awhile of looking kakyoin discovered that they sold things for insane prices. Jolyne explained that people buy it for the logo which Kakyoin thought made it seem even stupider. Kakyoin saw no need for something that was just a normal shirt with a logo printed on it so he left the store.

After about two hours of shopping they decide to sit down at the food court. While the others were getting their food Jolyne and Kakyoin were the only ones at the table.

“So Kakyoin, How did you get my brother to fall for you anyways?” Jolyne asked. She was curious, Kakyoin and Jotaro seemed like completely opposite from each other. 

Kakyoin blushes and fiddled with his fingers “Well..” she started “I don’t know. When we first met when we were younger we just became best friends so quickly. It might be because i don’t mind the lack of emotion Jotaro gives or how he never straight up expresses how he feels because i just know the ways he shows himself in a different way than most people. The secret to love is to just respect each other.”

Jolyne seemed Satisfied with the answer. Another conversation was soon formed and the others soon joined.

When Kakyoin got back, he surprised Jotaro with a cute dolphin phone chain that he found in one of the stores. he was rewarded with a “good grief” with his signature hat tip along with an awkward kiss on the cheek.
