@elonmusk, any update on the 2nd stage?
Here are two minutes of the SpaceX launch stream where the ice build-up began.

Upper stage restart to raise perigee resulted in an engine RUD for reasons currently unknown. Team is reviewing data tonight to understand root cause. Starlink satellites were deployed, but the perigee may be too low for them to raise orbit. Will know more in a few hours.

Ahhh... Thanks for the update. Hoping for the best.
A great reminder just how incredible rocket engineering is, and how many things have to go right for a flight to be successful.
A million things need to go right. Only one thing needs to go wrong.
Just one leak, and you can't take it back to the dealership. 7Interesting it was the Disposable Part of Falcon 9 that had the issue. Brand new, never flown hardware is inherently riskier than the reusable first stage with 9 times the number of connections and engines.
We knew this incredible run had to come to an end at some point, but 344 flights in a row is amazing! The team will fix the problem and start the cycle again
so crazy that we can get video and updates from the man here on X, thanks Elon.
Given that this is essentially the same second stage used for crew launches, do you expect some delays to Polaris Dawn or any other Crew/Cargo missions to the ISS? I guess it’s a bit early to ask but I’m sure a lot of folks are wondering the same thing.
Thanks for the update. Good luck with the review.
Thanks for the update
