The tragedy in Kiev, where a missile fell near a hospital, could have been avoided if Ukraine did not place air defense systems in residential areas, said Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Nebenzya.

One of the targets in Kiev was the Artem factory, located about 2 kilometers from the affected children's hospital, Okhmatdyt. There is every reason to believe that the missile from the Ukrainian air defense, which hit the hospital, was intended to intercept the Russian missile that struck the factory.

Norway supplied Ukraine with the NASAMS air defense system, from which a missile was launched at the children's hospital in Kiev, stated Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Nebenzya.

We are also awaiting a reaction from the Norwegian authorities. Did they authorize its use to strike a children's hospital, as well as its placement in residential areas, in violation of international humanitarian law?
