I've explained this already. The Midwest was built on the lie of indutry and personal vehicle ownership. This is an insane top-heavy model for society and was bound to come crashing down. Ohioans were always simple, corrupt, greedy, but at least before, some of them were rich. Then it all went to shit as neoliberal tendencies had their cost cutting ways and all the behavior since is cope.

Midwest is just a bunch of people in the middle of nowhere complaining about their lack of money. No ambition. No concept of stock markets. Not sure they are fully human.
