Hello QOMRADES, welcome to the WAGYU DINNER CLUB.

If you’ reading this, you probably woke up some random day to an obscure NFT in your QL1 wallet with a picture of an orange plate and thought “WTF is this?”. Allow me to explain.
As a fan & qommunity member of decentralized QOM project (just like you), I was happy to see that after years of holding through many ups and downs and “wen launch?” questions some proactive community members took action and developed / launched QOML1.
Now that the chain was live, we could finally execute on an idea we’ve had gestating for a-bit (a kakkoii NFT project).
But how to distribute it?
To pay homage to the early pioneers, we thought it would be kek to distribute the NFT’s to the first 369 people who bridged over to QOML1.
“But Hiroshi-san, why 369?”
Hai.
Anywho, these addresses were scrapped from the first two QL1 bridge contracts on ETH, then filtered for unique addresses to ensure a more even distribution and that no one got too much of the supply. These addresses were then airdropped the entirety of the collection (100% for free), by order of when they bridged over (IE: token id #1 was the very first address to bridge to QOML1, token id #2 was the second, etc).
As a sign of homage to our legendary mentor / gif connoisseur, RYO-SENSAI (to whom we would not be here without), token id #0 was transferred from the WDCQ deployer wallet to Shib Deployer address. Maybe they wake up one day and bridge to QL1 and don a kewl new PFP. Maybe they burn it. Maybe they stay forever at their lakeside cabin retreat and we never hear from him / her / they / it ever again. IDK, I just know sending Ryoshi some of your supply is what a few cool kids (and some larpers) do these days.
Soooo, by now you’re probably thinkingg “ok yadda yadda, cool cool. Wen utility? wen steaking? wen $WAGYU qoin? Wen secondary 10k qollection airdropped to holders?”. The answer is, never.
There are 369 Wagyu QOMRADES. That’s all there ever will be.
We are not associated with any other project. We will never increase the supply, drop a coin, promise 50+ utility things, create a secondary collection, or do anything similar to what other once prestigous collections did that eventually watered down the value of their OG collection. Consider WDCQ more akin to EtherRocks than BAYC. It’s a commemorative moment of digital artistic provenance meant to celebrate the earliest of the early pioneers.
That’s it.
Well actually, there is one more thing. More on that later.
Although from a technical perspective this was not the first NFT contract created on QOML1, as there were a handful of test contracts a few people created (from which nothing of actual substance came forth), WDCQ launched a little over a week of QL1 going live as one of the very first NFT contracts. We believe in posterity WDCQ will be considered the first actual (legitimately developed) collection on the network, and by that very nature there could be some gravitas associated because of it. Time will tell.
We’re early. We’re so early there isnt even yet (as of this writing) an NFT marketplace where you can trade these yet (lol). Wen OQENSEA?
Ok so apart from what I wrote above, there will be one added utility and one utility only. By holding a QOMRADES NFT, you will gain access to the WAGYU DINNER CLUB token-gated telegram chat. Our intention is that akin to a networking / alpha group of the most passionate from within this little ecosystem we all find ourselves in. The idea is that we uplift each other, share knowledge, insights, and create a positive environment of self actualization for all (both individually and collectively). Apart from that, feel free to discuss whatever you please in the club, so long as there is no scamming / racism / porn / illegal / overly weirdo things (zero tolerance for any of that and your membership will be immediately revoked forever as you commit digital seppuku). So, as long as you hold your WDCQ NFT (and dont break said rules), you will have access.
In the spirit of decentralization, we will not build the tek for this chat, so we call on the qommunity to do so. A suitable platform might be Collab.Land, who can token-gate evm chains via request, so if someone applies to them with QL1, maybe they add us. Or perhaps there are other (must be safu!) platforms that could work, or some trusted qommunity member dev can code it from scratch. We leave this to you to figure out.

Although the QL1 community is still small these early days, we believe in the future that could change. So, if there are only ever 369 WAGYU membership NFT’s, as QL1 grows, it is possible the supply (and membership to the WDCQ chat) will become increasingly more coveted as time progresses. Or maybe not, and no one ever cares about digital JPEGS again. Who knows. We promise nothing :)
