Our line-up for Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour 🇩🇪Sport director @larsboom85 hopes to make this edition of the Lotto Thuringen Ladies Tour memorable “Strong team at the start” Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour was one of the highlights of the 2023 season for Team SD Worx-Protime. The Dutch WorldTeam won all stages + the final classification. This season, Team SD Worx-Protime is sending a mix of experience and young talents to Germany. “There is a strong field of competitors at the start, but we also have a good team along. Again, we want to compete for the GC and stage wins,” Lars Boom said. Sport director Lars Boom: “Last year’s edition will always stay with me. In the meeting before the race, I came up with the idea of trying to win a stage with each rider. At first, we laughed about it, but in the end we went for it and we succeeded. That was very special. This season too, we are incredibly motivated to make it a good race.” “The field of competitors is stronger than last year. As opponents, I do look at a Kasia Niewiadoma, Shirin van Anrooij and Lucinda Brand. And so there are still some other riders who will make it difficult for us. We are not here with the same team as last year, but also this team is strong enough to play for the win. We will make a nice battle plan in the coming days.” “With Christine Majerus and Mischa Bredewold, we have two strong leaders here. Christine is riding a good season and has made the Olympics an important main goal. She wants to get a good result there in one of the last important races of her career. So her form is good. Lonneke Uneken should try to gain race rhythm to take a step towards getting back to a higher level. Marie Schreiber can race uninhibited and see where the ship runs aground. She is still young and can still learn a lot. Femke Markus always wants to go for it and with Barbara Guarischi we can try to win a stage in the sprint. The mix of experience and young talented riders brought us success before. Hopefully we can shoot the main bullet in Germany as well.” #wesparksuccess
