We are excited to finally present an option for our creators to earn an income through posting content directly to iwara.tv! Starting with the release of this update, the Creator Program is now available in a beta stage. Using the simultaneously released Wura system, creators may receive donations from their fans who want to support efforts to bring more and better content directly to Iwara's viewers.

All accounts that are eligible to join the Creator Program at the time of this update will be automatically enrolled. If you are enrolled but do not wish to participate, please be sure to leave the program.

Please note that the total amount of available Wura codes will be limited per day during our beta period.

We are still waiting on the procurement of hardware to be able to properly deploy our new servers. We have some temporary hardware that can hold us over for now, but performance will not be up to our preferred standards. Please understand that we have ordered very specific server hardware that has high demand, which causes delays in being able to obtain all of the parts we need. We promise that this issue remains a top priority, but we cannot fully resolve it just yet.

We have established a new short-term roadmap for updates. These are listed below based on priority but are not guaranteed to happen in this order.

-- Database server overload during peak traffic hours.
Recently, we have seen an increase in database server CPU usage. This results in the website being slow and unresponsive during heavy traffic. We have set a high priority on finding the cause and resolving it.

-- Premium account benefit - Improved streaming performance.
We will be looking into ways to bring premium-only streaming servers into service. For now, we are looking at cloud-based providers due to global reach and established networks.

-- Integrated website payment options.

-- Wura system update - Withdraw option.
The primary purpose for the Creator Program. While this feature isn't ready for the initial launch, we don't want to wait very long to bring this update live. Part of this process will be to set up Iwara's payout accounts. Initial goals will be for Paypal, Payoneer and Crypto.

-- Tag System update.
We have talked about it before, and we still have a main goal of having a new tagging system created as soon as possible. We can't say for sure if it will be available this year or not, but it will at least be started.

This roadmap may be subject to change in emergency situations. But aside from bug fixes and minor tweaks, should remain true.

And finally, our new content storage platform is doing quite well during the first month. Please feel free to give it a try. Iwara.zip is a great platform for storing and distributing content, or keeping backups of your MMD assets. Don't get caught in a bad situation after an unexpected computer crash!
