  1. 201610251629 Dear Hyun YEUL Lee.
  2. Thank you for removing everything, that got in the way of us having the best experience. (What did you say? Struggling with hard to use and hard to find features? What features? Were we forced to use them before? Shouldn't they work better now (smart screen) with an 1440p F1.9 camera and a more powerful processor? Wireless charging built in? No bulky back covers? What was so bulky about them? You buy them once, and you've got them. What did you say? New design velocity? „Design with purpose-no convinience sacrificed for design“? „A phone with capabilities, no other phone can match, “ is what you said. S.m.h. waterproofness, USB 3.0,)Now, we can no longer configure our camera application shortcuts, view EXiF data with the gallery app, many menu features and icons are removed, and this affects all flagships since S6. Sacrificing room for a sleek profiled design lead to disaster on the Note 7.

  4. Flagships are for us power users, and we do not want to share them with complaining minimalists, who want less features. We need to be sure, that the predecessor's feature range is fully covered on a successor, otherways, we have to worry, that any feature could be lost on the line's successor. We want to feel superior relative to other users.
  5. Why don't they reduce the stuff to the menus and settings on a device, which is no flagship? (C/A/J-line; boring for power users)
  6. And if you mess up the S-Line, please, keep Hyun YeuL Lee away from the Galaxy Note series, because she is a real disgrace to the innovation team, and truly messed things up.
  7.
  8. Things were OK, until she had ideas, that only have disadvantages in practical usage. Here is just one random example: if I hit 50 tabs in the pre-installed S-Browser (that limitation should not exist on flagships for power users anyways), and try to open the 51th tab, the first one will be closed automatically since TouchWiz NatureUX 5.0. Without any warning. And in NatureUX 5.0 (fixed in 6.0), there was no mode to show all quick settings and holding down to access their advanced settings with

  10. In GRACE UX, which was probably also designed by Hyun Yeul Lee (at least with improved quick-settings, but less standalone buttons (e.g. show more, MODE in camera mode, etc.). And the icons in the context menus allow me to navigate through the options faster, and even, if the device is set to a menu language that I am unable to read. So what's the advantage of removing those icons? CLEANER user interface?

  13. Many features are still missing. How about a keyboard, where special characters are (known from LG and Omnia 2) behind the keys and not on a seperate page? Where are the two dots on the key with keyboard options? (removed since marshmallow, the two dots meant: show options such as clipboard or settings or speech input)
  14.
  15. There is even more to mention, but for now, Hyun Yeul Lee, you are roasted, because of your ugly statement at UnPacked2015 Episode 1 at 17 Minutes. You just said one good thing: more camera modes on one page: no more scrolling. That's what I actually liked. But for reducing features: You should swap to Apple's user experience innovation team, where you are welcome. Inam glad, that LG has nobody like you in their UX team, otherways, their V-line wouldn't ever have been possible.

S.m.h. waterproofness, USB 3.0, MicroHDMI (MHL), MicroSD and removable battery. On the 2016 flagships, the non-removable battery reinforces water protection, that's understandable. And there's an USB 3.1 to 3.0/2.0 adapter. But on the S6, that's not excuseable. After frustrating everybody, whi watched the event, she instantly changed the topic and talked about more powerful processors and removed lag and stuttering, which actually had never been there before.) Now, we can no longer configure our camera application shortcuts, view EXiF data with the gallery app, many menu features and icons are removed, and this affects all flagships since S6. Without any warning. And in NatureUX 5.0 (fixed in 6.0), there was no mode to show all quick settings and holding down to access their advanced settings. The quick settings in Grace UX have been improved: more settings (such as power saving and ultra power saving) combined into one switch, advances settings (e.g. WLAN selector) partially accessible through the toggles themselves (earlier phones had a pop-up for wireless connection selection, but it vanished, and could also be annoying) and also allows brightness setting of the FlashLight, which was previously just possible through the edge-panel.
  45. The new browser since S6 doesn't even display the full URL, only the domain name, until you tap on that bar. Whoever invented this idea was probably Apple with Safari.

  49. If you prefer a clean user interface, use easy mode or get yourself a dummy-phone.

  52. Some text editors and also the iPhones have a features, where you can manually create a dictionaty of corrections. (I would use it to replace U with you, plz with please, and other ugly chat-shortcuts with the full spelling of a word.)

  60. V3 Hello. Here is a random fact, which I may have not already mentioned about the Grace user interface. In my opinion,
  61.
  62. Since Lollipop and S5, you can pin applications, which is similar to Apple's guided access, but not so advanced, but still very useful. But because of the material design, the pinning-button is placed at the lower right corner of a window in the recent application display (which is fortunately no longer limited to fourteen applications. I hate the homescreen, because it forces vertical rotation. Since TouchWiz NatureUX v2, rotation control apps also are incompatible to the homescreen. Some icons are no longer visible then. But this pin icon should be in the title bar of apps in the quick switcher, which would allow me to access those apps, without opening them normally first, to bring them to the front. And the recnet-apps/Notification clear button could be pressed accidentally, so there should be a confirmation gesture.
  63. Do you want to know, why I disabled lockscreen notifications? Because a boy from a neighbour school class, called Noah, cleared all notifications in our class trip. That made me angry.
  64.
  65. I wish that users could also specify some Home-Button-taps to activate accessibility features. Then, triple-push could be used for screen shrinking (one-handed operation mode) and triple-tap for negative colours, to compensate white user interfaces. Tap-click-mixtures should also be possible.
