Connor McManus, 26, of Kyabram pleaded guilty at Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday to sexual assault and multiple counts of rape.
McManus raped, sexually assaulted and forced the woman to engage in sexual acts against her will in January 2020, the same day he intentionally engaged in sexual activity in the presence of a child under 16.

Police alleged McManus beat the woman on multiple occasions and unlawfully imprisoned her against her will when he raped her, but the kidnapping and assault charges were withdrawn on a plea deal in court on Wednesday.
He is further charged with raping and sexually assaulting a woman on multiple occasions in Wangaratta in 2015 and on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day of 2018 and raping a woman at Dandenong in 2016 between January and June.
He remains remanded in custody ahead of a plea hearing at the County Court on 23 September ahead of sentencing.
