Appearance

A female Blue Pikmin, made entirely of water. As an experiment, she has a blue orb at the end of her stalk.

Powers

Hydrokinesis; Beta can control water, including that which makes up her own body. She may also bond herself to any body of water and take control of the whole thing.

Serene Mind allows her to see the flow of the world, including the path of incoming attacks and the path her own attacks should take to strike the hardest. Her eyes turn a deep, oceanic blue while under this effect.

Weaknesses

Electricity is incredibly dangerous for her. High temperatures can cause her to evaporate down to a fraction of her usual size, but cannot destroy her completely.

Resistances

Fire is largely useless against Beta unless it's very hot. Freezing her has little effect, as she can quickly defrost herself.

Immunities

Physical blows are entirely useless against Beta, as they simply pass through her elemental body. Magic or elements must be used to cause true damage.

Personality

Freeflowing and chaotic like water, Beta is a somewhat mischevious being. She never really seeks to cause overt harm to others, or do anything out of malice; it is simply in her nature as a being made of water. That said, she is very in tune with nature and becomes serene when near water.

History

The only female of the first Experiment line. Her time of awakening is unknown. She currently travels with Beta Mark II.

Trivia

Beta was originally a Black Pikmin in a different RP, but it didn't last long, and I retooled Beta because I'd already made Epsilon.

Beta's room in Hero Squad HQ is a large scale recreation of the Pool of Reflection, with the slight addition of a bunch of arcs and loops of water rising up and hanging in the air. She shares this room with Hydross.
