Adeleine has no memory of her biological parents or her original home because she was transported to Ripple Star as a baby. There, she learned how to use magic and discovered she could use it to bring her drawings to life.

In order to further her art skills, she eventually traveled to the nearby planet Popstar not long after Kirby showed up. She considers both planets her home and often travels between them.
