Israeli fighter jets have struck military targets and facilities in Houla and Markaba , of the Lebanese Hezbollah in response to the firing of rockets at Israeli territory from Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported. This is not new, last October a week after Israel's war with the Axis of Resistance and the brutal attack on Gaza, when I was in Lebanon, I could not go beyond Saida and Mleeta, due to Israel's attacks on the South. My old (Lebanese) friend, and my driver during my two-week visit, his brother is mayor of Markaba, not far from Houla, told me then that his sister's house had been attacked and also that of his brother, his own family is ok. During my interrogation by Hezbollah in Beirut for approval to travel to Lebanon, which was of course approved, it became clear to me that Hezbollah was at war with Israel. My last day, Hassan Nasrallah's speech, was also confirmation of this.
