Thankfully Samsung now has a different screenshot sound than the camera shutter sound. When they had the same sound, people would assume someone just took a photo when it was a screenshot. I think Xiaomi has distinct sounds too.
I turn off those annoying sounds and vibrations anyway. I prefer it quiet.
Something I miss is the feature to unlock the phone without tapping "OK". Looks like Samsung got rid of that.

One ui is ver 6.0.
My only complaints are as follows:
1) Face unlock is not recognizing face all times. Sometimes it just don't, then fp - that works 100 times of 100.
2) not 4g+ support. Just 4g with lower dl speeds(i was in one city were dl was crazy fast - 80-100mbit - maybe there all bandwidth goes through one band. But at home it is usually 5-10 mbit/max 20. Before that previous phone was showing till 70/80 at home and at evening maybe 15).
but for price paid that is ok.

Every time they do dumb unjustified stuff like this they are only proving that you're a smart conscious customer who got a really good value for the money & they hate you for it! lol 😂
Rich people live like they're poor because they're smart. While poor people spend more money to pretend they're rich. So, never look back! Be happy with what you've got, A15 does 95% of what you want in a phone & it's basically the best OLED phone at it's price range 👍
Confused, 29 May 2024I bought this phone and was shocked that it doesn't have always on display (AOD) function... moreHi, I absolutely agree with you... there is no excuse for this. I suspect they did this intentionally to create an artificial reason for people to go with their higher phones in the lineup.
- They did the same by increasing the bezels on the A50 series every year.
- The A35/A55 share the same display but one has the HDR certification in the software whereas the other one ships without an HDR certification.
- They make the punch hole gray with a silver ring on the A series, but on the S series they make it black.
- They switched from a real to a virtual proximity sensor in the A series. (even though similarly priced Chinese phones ship with real proximity sensors)
- Older A series phones used to ship with full support for the Camera2 API (for better photos inside third party apps) but now they have reserved that to the S series.
- If an A series gets too good, it immediately loses microSD/headphone jack... because it makes them more money when you buy their wireless earbuds or pay for the higher storage.
- They always go with funky colors & patterns on the A series but reserve the clean minimalist look to the S series. (even though colors are free)
- They took away some OneUI options/toggles that are present on the S series but can technically run on the A series. (though most are hard to find)
Basically like how car manufacturers include a mirror for the passenger seat but not the driver seat. (even though it doesn't cost them a single dime to switch it's place...) or how they include a fabric arm rest in the back but not a plastic one in the front. These are basically anti-consumer design decisions that are meant to artificially incentivize consumers to climb the ladder & spend more.
But this is no more than a theory about what I refer to as "Ensh*tification".

The phone will only take one photo. You will need to exit the phone mode and re-enter it to take another photo.
It is difficult to answer the phone when it rings, as the swipe doesn't work well when it rings. The swipe works fine when unlocking the phone and accessing apps, but most calls will be missed.

I bought this phone and was shocked that it doesn't have always on display (AOD) function. I have had several phones and every single one of these has AOD. I didn't even bother to check as it never even crossed my mind that there would the a phone without AOD. But when I am charging the phone, the screen displays charge % and how many minutes to full! What the ... ? Isn't this basically AOD? They have just turned off the function?

If I ... moreDual connectivity allowing both SIM to receive LTE connection but turned it off only allowing 2g connection to be received by other sim. I'm not sure if 3g is a thing unless you change the connectivity only allowing to receive 3g.

Helio g99 supports LTE cat13, so on A15 it is forced by Samsung to behave like single band modem.

Looks like it doesnt CA(4g+), therefore with single band speed is as it is.
20mbit is max what i saw in early morning( usually it is around 60-80 on other devices on same network).
What are your LTE download speeds?
