On and from 31 January 2024, it is a condition on Dr Tan’s registration that, for at least a continuous 5-year period, he is restricted to undertaking veterinary practice and providing veterinary treatment, only: 6.1. where employed by a veterinary services provider/s and/or a veterinary surgeon/s as approved by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia; 6.2. when under the indirect supervision of a person or persons as approved by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia; and 6.3. when under the mentorship of a person or persons as approved by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia.

  • Primary registration on the general register (no conditions)
  • Primary registration on the general register (with condition/s imposed on the registration)
  • Limited registration on the general register (with condition/s imposed on the registration)
  • Specialist registration on the specialist register in a particular area of specialty (where the veterinary surgeon is also registered on the general register)
  • Retired or extended leave registration
