Reddit’s Goon Cave Community Has Been Banned

Reddit has banned r/GoonCaves, a community where porn enthusiasts share pictures of their elaborate setups for viewing porn on multiple screens for hours on end.

According to a message on the subreddit, r/GoonCaves “was banned due to a violation of Reddit’s rules against non-consensual intimate media.” We don’t know the specifics about the media that violated the policy, or if the subreddit violated the policy repeatedly. However, the subreddit consisted mostly of photographs and videos of rooms with multiple screens showing porn videos, themselves often compilations of multiple existing porn videos, so it’s easy to imagine nonconsensual intimate media being included in the deluge.
