The ANC is set to drop a whopping 17% nationally compared to the 2019 results, according to News24's latest projections.

According to News24 elections analyst Dawie Schotz's national projections at 19:20 on Friday evening, the ANC would get 40.5% of the vote.

In the 2019 elections, the party got 57.5%.
