Mr. Musk, if you truly love Japan, please put more effort into addressing the issue of defamation on X in Japan. Many people suffer from defamation, and some even commit suicide. However, your company is reluctant to respond to information disclosure requests, and it takes several months to process them.
Frankly speaking, despite making profits in Japan, your company is not fulfilling its social responsibilities here.
Due to these circumstances, some of us in NPOs and the legal profession are urging the Japanese government and legislators to impose stricter measures on your platform operators.
