幕府というのは、結局松前藩が出来てからの事でしょう。アイヌにとってみれば、商売の相手。労働を提供して報酬を得る。だからといって臣下になったとは言わない。(そういう意識は無い。)ましてや、その幕府と朝廷の関係性など、果たしてどこまで理解していたのかさえ疑問だ。
