Aligator Black Hat, an Asian hacktivist group currently operating as part of the pro-Russian 'High Society' collective, has claimed an attack on Australia.
The group has claimed they have breached a system control at Telstra, Australia's biggest telecommunications company.
However, the screenshots provided show the Australian company, Aquacell.
The confusion is which the company has been targeted might be an indication of the groups capability and the legitimacy of the attack.
Regardless, it is worth having awareness that Australian organisations remain targets of interest for various hacktivist groups.
