I love this fragrance! Anybody else picking up some leather in it?

Vanilla,it smells like vanilla almost exclusivly. It's very nice but one note, not cloyingly sweet or artificial especially. I would only buy this if I didn't own any other vanilla heavy scents.

Bongman223

Very lovely fragrance, with a hint of vanilla after 10 mins. It lasts for a very long time, at around 5-7 hours depending on the spray. Very nice and sweet.

SebaFragrance

Awesome fragrance imo. Although i do seem to notice that the scent changed through the day (in a good way). I’ve had people tell me that it smells best after some hours. (3-5?)… it smells much stronger when you apply it straight off. But overall 10/10 fragrance

the_badger

It's an ok frag. Opens up very sweet and bubblegum-ish like Invictus, then becomes more of a powdery sweet tart gourmand, and dries down to an ambery scent. The drydown reminds me very much of Balenciaga Cristobal. I'm surprised no one picked up on that. More smoother than the Balenciaga of course.

For the price, I find it a bit on the expensive side.

Valentino Born in Roma Intense is an amazing fragrance that every young man should smell if they like sweet scents. It opens up with bubble gum sweetness and an almost classy lavender note. Lavender is considered a "classy" note, but I wouldn't call this fragrance super "classy". If you are considering buying this fragrance, it is a somewhat versatile scent and I would say that you could wear this pretty much anywhere except for a super hot summer day. This is the most complimented fragrance in my collection, and I use it most for a going-out scent, but as I said before you can wear it pretty much anywhere. It can be a pretty safe blind buy, but you must like sweet fragrances.

Not sure what the praise is about this one or the Edt. Tested both the intense and the Edt and was kinda disappointed. Nothing whatsoever that was wowing or even unique to me. Maybe it’s one of those that please the average nose in the air. But to me it smelled ultra forgettable. Not bad or off putting but just very mid. Has that powdery smell with maybe a distant smell of A&F fierce in the back. Is this just TikTok hype or YouTube hype? Don’t blind buy this go smell it first. Currently have it on and it smells so forgettable. Maybe this is one of these scents dudes don’t get but women love who knows

feels strange how everyone praises this for being a good vanilla parfume when its a lot more lavender heavy, threw me off when i first ever smelled it.
coming back to it however i appreciate the bright and floral sweetness a lot more. good lavender perfumery, but if you want something warmer try coral fantasy (im really happy coral fantasy is starting to get the recognition it deserves)

This fragrance makes me feel like a little kid, and not in a good way. Coral fantasy over this any day. But then again, i'm over thirty five.

I love it. At the store I was smelling this, Azzaro the most wanted, and Givenchy Reserve Privee. I ended up walking away with this one, Born in Roma intense. It is great and strong, I wore 1 spray to work the day after buying and instantly got 2 compliments from my co workers. I'm happy with the purchase.

Solid take on the Born In Roma DNA. Mass appealing and very safe. However, I think there are enough vanilla/lavender frags out there these days. Just super generic. Therefore, I prefer the original EDT and Coral Fantasy to this.

very nice smelling fragrance. when first sprayed it is very strong and projection is exceptional. lasts around 6-8 hours on my skin and an overall amazing fragrance

TheTrackEnthusiast

Amazing scent. Average performance. Poor sillage. Poor projection. Basically the typical stiff that’s out nowadays. I still remember the days when men’s colognes could put hair on your ass and demanded an open shirt and a gold chain. A time when we were all ( men and women ) a part of the gallows gang ( we choked mfrs out with the fragrance ). Did IFRA really mess things up this badly for the industry?

I will buy this and buy it again for a long time. I just counted how much different fragrances i have in my collection (60+) and put a theoretic what if I had to keep 10, VBIRI gets a top spot. Nothing more to be said, you can figure your own top 10, but this one, times that olefactory experience for me

Bubble gum, sweet, fresh and clean. Leaves a great first impression, I don't know anyone who wouldn't like this. Performance is great, 10+ hours. 8.5/10

This is literally what I always wanted. Keep in mind perfumes are unique! More than ' I need to find a good perfume '.. you need to think like ' I need to find what suits me best '. There are plenty of perfumes that are so good and high range in marked, although I do not find them suitable for me or my skin, or even my nose. I dont like them thats all. For Valentino Born In Roma Intense Uomo, if you like really clean scents, sweet but not dark or deep sweetness, fresh sweetness.. this is it. Its long lasting I spray it before going to work and my girlfriend still can smell it and smiles after 8 hour shit. I go to work with a bike it may be cold and windy still the smell suits good on me at least. Out of what I have smelled and used, I rate this perfume 9/10. Sweet vanilla, but freshness never stop no matter where you are or go to.

Ive had this for about a year and it has now become my signature scent. People that i work with daily recognize when i wear this and they love it. I always get compliments on this fragrance.

The alluring cherry and lavender trail this leaves is insanely good. I love just smelling this on myself when i catch a whiff of it. The quality of the cherry is one of the best.

A perfectly balanced blend of cherry, lavender and woods.

A surreal fragrance.

I got this fragrance a few days ago and this is what i think. I think this fragrance i super overhyped, people are making it out to be something special, but its not special or basic its kinda in between. My nose does NOT like this fragrance as 1 spray gives me a headache, but the people around me love it when i use it. After a while my nose goes blind to it, even on the first use my nose couldn’t understand or comprehend whats going on its too much for my nose. But when i can smell it its okay, i give it a 7/10 but when i smell it on clothes it’s like a 9/10. This might just be my nose that cannot interpret it so take this review with a grain of salt.

I didn’t like this from the very beginning but after giving it a second chance I think it is a very nice fragrance. It starts with a intense burst of sweetness combined with a citrusy fresh touch, from that moment you can tell it is strong, and you won’t need a lot of sprays to be noticed. This opening can feel a bit too sharp and cloying for a few moments, so perhaps that’s why I didn’t like it straight away. As it dries down, the sweetness remains very present but the smoked vetiver note starts to show up, as well as a powdery sensation that makes it feel very sophisticated. After a few hours, when the sweetness tones down a notch, it starts to give me a very clean vibe, like a good quality fabric softener or an expensive soap bar.
It is very nice, it’s definitely not an edible sweetness but it is still quite sexy, almost unisex in my opinion, but leaning just slightly more masculine because of the earthy, smokey and woody touch in the background.
For me it’s a really good option for dates and nights out, but I also like to wear it on cold or chilly days, particularly if I will spend it with my girlfriend, as she enjoys the smell as much as I do. The performance is quite good, it projects nicely, creating a scent bubble around you, and it lasts 8-10 hours on skin.

This is a mild lavender with a soft vanilla cushion. The vetiver is a bit lemony. A very nice scent that I’m happy to give to the hubby.

My first introduction to this fragrance was at Macy's. I had never smelled the original Born In Roma, so I didn't really have a frame of reference for this one; but I was familiar with Coral Fantasy and Yellow Dream. This didn't smell like either of those, but was still love at first sniff for me. I knew I had to have it, but I never spend full retail unless I absolutely have no other choice. So I waited for it to become available at discounters. Then kept waiting, because for some reason it is unnecessarily hard to find. Finally I found it for a decent price last weekend. Time to give it the review it deserves;

Scent:
Opening is sweet, aromatic, and woody. There's only three notes listed in the official breakdown; vanilla, lavender, and vetiver, and each one is easily picked out. The strongest of the notes are the vanilla and lavender. The vanilla is of the sweet and creamy variety, while the lavender is the usual soft, floral, and aromatic offering. This is followed by the vetiver, which gives a solid and masculine backbone of woodiness to contrast with the vanilla and lavender. I also get a bit of fruitiness, like an apple note; which makes this opening feel similar to Versace Eros to me. It's not in the note breakdown, but it's definitely there. Dry down is still sweet, aromatic, and woody. Primary notes are still the same, obviously. Strongest notes are still the vanilla and lavender, but the vetiver has become more pronounced to lend more woodiness and help balance all the notes. I get PDM Layton vibes from the dry down.

Performance:
Initial projection is strong at around 6 feet. Sillage matches that intensity with an easily noticeable scent trail. After a few hours the projection was about arms length but the scent trail was still easily noticeable. At the 8 hour mark the projection was still arms length and the scent trail was light but still noticeable. The fragrance lasted about 10 hours before it became a skin scent.

When to wear:
I would consider this an all-season fragrance suitable for daytime or evening wear. It would work in most situations as well; office, date, formal, casual, etc.

Blind buy:
If you enjoy fragrances like Eros or Layton, or just enjoy sweet and aromatic/woody fragrances in general, this is a safe blind buy for you.

Final verdict:
I loved it at first sniff, and I still do. This is a wonderful fragrance; simplistic in its approach but does it exceedingly well. The scent itself is versatile and mass-appealing in a supremely enjoyable way. The performance is a highlight as well, lasting around 10 hours. I'm very happy I'm finally able to add this to my collection, and I would recommend any gentleman to add it to theirs as well.

Sillage: 8/10

This was my first blind buy. I love vanilla forward scents, and I read and watched a lot of reviews, but still I was a bit nervous. I put it on today, and I am in love. Beautiful scent. Creamy vanilla with a hint of lavender, and the vetiver gives it its masculine edge. I could see this becoming my signature scent one day

share

aaronfr

I used to love this fragrance until i got into niche stuff, this is genuinely more synthetic than any Nautica fragrance. still sell samples to my friends and make hella money off it tho

share

everybodyhateschris

Blind bought this and a bunch of other designers I’d heard good things about and been waiting to try. Honestly pretty stunned at how much people seem to love this. The opening in particular is harsh and chemically and kinda nauseating. Abrasive definitely. As it dries down it gets better but the overall vibe to me is like someone mixed the sea notes from ADG with the spices from Lynx Africa and chucked in some bubblegum. I can see this working if you’re around 15 years old maybe

share

Tracery

It is a mass appealing simple scent it reminds me of sheets fresh out of the dryer when i first sprayed it it was off-putting and smelt like the ocean but in a bad why but as it dried down it began to smell like clean sheets out of the dryer.

share

SimasFragrance

Blind bought this fragrance, and when I got it, it smelled just what I thought it would smell like- sweet vanilla, lavender. This perfoms absolutely nuclear on my skin. 2 sprays last a whole day with incredible projection.

I don’t even know what to say about Born in Roma Intense, how did we get here? What happened to the gorgeously seductive and sophisticated allure of the original Valentino Uomo? It seems the brand has lost all creativity and ingenuity unfortunately.

You can look at the note breakdown all you want, it’s just marketing. The scent doesn’t smell even remotely similar to what the notes suggest, it’s just an explosion of messy synthetic aroma chemicals going down the path of harsh and screechy shower gel. There’s no rhyme or reason behind the composition.

It feels like this fragrance was slapped together with the cheapest possible ingredients by a 5 year old. I honestly cannot fathom how such a poor scent can be so popular.

share

Bebeck

Very strong which is grwat for an intense fragrance but cloyingly so. Caused an allergic reaction with coughing and a headache after under an hour of wear.
You'd need no more than 2 sprays of this.
Projection is strong. Longevity is great. I scrubbed and can still smell it. Was about to buy a full bottle.
It's a sweet simple fragrance with the 3 notes but I feel the lavender seems synthetic. Unfortunately it's a nice fragrance, but due to the reaction it's a no. I've bought Coral Fantasy instead as it is a lighter fresher and more complex version so hopefully won't cause as big a reaction.

This is really good. Saw it on YouTube and yeah, it lives up to the hype. Amazing sweetness, and a rapturous opening. The thing is.... this is right there in the same category as Rasasi Hawas Ice, which is far less pricey. Quite frankly, the comparison to Hawas Ice (and the OG Hawas) has killed a lot of designer fragrances for me. In the present case of Valentino UBIR Intense, both scents are so good… it’s basically take your pick. Hawas Ice might be a tad more synthetic on the opening, but the longer it dries down, it keeps getting better and better. It also starts to pull away in terms of longevity. So I can’t see paying a $40 premium for a bottle of the Valentino ($70’s vs. $110’s), when these two are basically driving in the same lane – incredibly pleasing sweetness and beastmode sillage. (The original Hawas is even cheaper, by the way....)

My favorite perfume hands down! This is one that when I smell it it really puts a smile on my face. I tried my fair share of perfumes and this one is just the best! 5/5

share

Felixthreeone

As an older guy, I actually prefer the original EDT to this one. I love this, but owning the EDT and Coral fantasy I feel as though I wouldn't wear this as much. It is a great performer, but it is a touch too sweet to make it as versatile. I wish this one held on to more of the minerality of the OG, as I think that is what I like about that one. This is good for colder weather and 'clubbing', I guess, although I haven't gone clubbing in almost 30 years...

best designer of all time!!! the mix between the freshness and sweetness is heavenly. opens with a fresh floral burst and slowly develops to a dark, vanillary sweetness. this is absolutely incredible, 10/10 fragrance but very hard to get your hands on these days

scent: 10/10

if you can get your hands on this you wont regret it, simply incredible.

Smells great and last all day. Only quibble is that I picked up on some college/youthful vibes on the dry down which aren't as appealing to me. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind if you're past that phase in your life.

[7/10] Nice but overhyped

Extremely designer - Mass appealing, simple, synthetic sweet, good performance. Its just not very interesting and younger leaning for sure. I like it generally but I have never reached for this once. Its worth a buy on discount, but I personally disagree with how hyped this is - one of the highest rated designers is a struggle to understand thruthfully.

share

Lucasjames13

Personally i dont get the full hype around this and most of the valentino line (except uomo intense) this fragrance is just to sweet and smells extremely synthetic to my nose. The vetiver is almost redundant because i can only smell synthetic vanilla and a plethora of lavender which makes it cloying and nauseating. i don't personally recommend this as its quite synthetic and cloying but don't let anybody's opinion of this fragrance hinder your view and love for this one.

share

jojidemon5

AMAZING
This fragrance is very good I think this is very versatile. The lavender makes it smell fresh so you can wear it in pretty much all seasons day or night. The is a moderate amount of vanilla but not to the point where its too sweet or headache-inducing. This lasts about 4-6 hours in my testing but has an amazing sillage people could smell me from 4 feet away.

presentation 10/10 nice bottle
smell 10/10 not too fresh not too sweet just right
longevity 7/10 average
silliage 9/10 people could smell from several feet away
price 8.5/10 a bit pricy but worth the money
- mass appealing and lots of compliments

100% worth blind buying

Nice, sweet, quite simple, almost boring. All rounder, not hot summer, 8/10. Long lasting, sillage 5/10.

share

R.diggity

A less interesting Ralph’s Club. Gummy and loud synthetic in a pretty bottle. Vetiver is almost non existent or just poorly done.

share

I get nothing but lavender and powder, its super nauseating and cloying. Waaaaay to sweet without having anything to round it off

share

Hayoun

Its simple but you get all you need with this one. Super easy to wear and very easy to like. For me it lasts around 9.5 - 11 hours and at the first hour its really noticeable but after the dry down it becomes a super nice woody vanilla that reminds me a lot azzaro most wanted parfum. For me at least i think its blind buy safe.
Solid 8.9 for me

share

Tudor0711

Very pleasant smell, the lavender is very strong in the beginning but after half an hour you can smell the vanilla and the woodiness much more. It's an overall simple scent, very easy to like. Can easily become nauseous if you over spray this fragrances, the maximum number of sprays I suggest would be 3-4. The projection is not that strong but it does last a long time. Personally, it's a 9/10 fragrance and the best from the Valentino Born In Roma line.

share

Marto_Fragrances

Very good scent for some people it’s too strong and the lavender is too much for me personally. I wouldn’t recommend it to people that want something for every day use, maybe for that price you should get YSL Y EDP. If you want an intense smell you should first try it in a store and see if you like it them you can buy it. Very long lasting smell sweet, sexy absolutely a compliment getter. On my skin it last for 8-9 hours I spray about 5 sprays.

share

This is something i expected good, but wasnt the best. For me this was a blind buy and when i smelled i got nauseous. My stomach started to hurt and i got a headeache. This is something i expected great. This is not worth the price and the smell is wierd for me. 2/10 for me.

This is one of the fragrances that has started me on a new fragrance journey. I love the simple DNA of this profile. It does lean slightly masculine but it is also relatively unisex and I think anybody really could pull this off. The vanilla+lavender with the slight powdery quality is just to die for. I can't stop smelling my wrists when I wear it. It has good projection and lasts a very long time. For me, this is a 10/10.

Reminds me a little bit of invictus the original, but the two are thankfully quite far apart cuz I don't like invictus and I returned my bottle.
This one is powdery and flowery, along with quite a bit of sweetness and freshness. A tiny bit feminine, in the general direction of One Million, but executed better than both of them. There's no bubble gummy sweetness in here like invictus and the eau de toilette version of BiR. I personally would not buy the eau de toilette version since it's much closer to invictus and therefore not good.
Scentwise, excellent.

The bottle is sexy and certainly unique. However the atomizer is meh and the cap is lightweight and feels cheap. It's not Dior's level of quality but at Dior prices (if not more expensive lol). The only ok-ish option for me was the 50ml bottle. The 100ml was stupidly expensive for what it is. The fresh-sweet fragrances should not be this expensive, even when they're good.

8.9/10 Awesome but too expensive

share

kipsu

A slight tad bit fresher than I was expecting when I blind bought it. Sprayed this on some time ago, and it's starting to lean more into a vanilla-fresh side though.
It does smell simple, but honestly I kind of like the simple dna. I have a lot of complex fragrances, and something like this or Luna Rossa Black are just really relaxing and enjoyable to wear once in a while. Will i re-purchase this if I ran out? Probably not. But it does still smell super good, and lasts a respectable amount of time.

Some may say this has a simple profile, and it does...but when did that start meaning something smelled bad? This smells pretty amazing and has above average projection and sillage. You absolutely will receive compliments on this fragrance and if you like vanilla and lavender, you will constantly smell your own wrists throughout the day. Great buy, and a solid 8/10 in my eyes.

Such a nice fragrance. It is sweet and very pleasant. The combination of vanilla and lavender works extremely well. I get this slight powdery or make-up note in there as well which just adds to the scent in a good way in my opinion. I would say this fragrance may be too sweet for some men's taste but if you don't mind a little more unisex fragrance you won't have an issue. The performance is really good and it projects quite well too. I would say this is better for colder weather. If you can get this at a discount I would say definitely do so. In my experience, this will get you a lot of compliments, especially from the ladies.

I blind bought this and ended up as my favorite! In the opening you really get lavender, but in the drydown the lavender comes together with vanilla, woods and a little smokines. Its a very sexy fragrance that you would wear for dates and maybe office/school. It is abit expensive but so worth it!! Smells so sexy sweet but not that big overwhelming sweetnes but a fresh sweetnes, good for summer nights, winter, fall and spring. Good longevity, Will last you whole date or school day. Can not see the similarity to layton. More realistisk you Smell like a sweet fresh lavender soap thats smell like HEAVEN but in the woods. So sexy

share

This fragrance is so strong and sexy. I sampled this at a store and immediately nutted my pants to the scent. I wore it over to a small function and let’s say the boys got a little crazy. We ended up having a 28 person group orgi on the floor. Enough said

Edit: 2 weeks later the smell is very fresh and strong when you first spray it on. But when it dries out I love the dry lavender smell it produces. Love this frag 10/10

Incredible opening and dry down! the vanilla and the woody notes add an amazing smokeyness to the fragrance. Its also very sweet and perfect for everyday wear. I'd say its A colder weather fragrance but you could also get away with wearing it in late spring/early fall. I recently started layering it with "white musk" and it makes the fragrance even better.
For the price i would definitely get it as it offers a great everyday scent that is very versatile.

Mr. nose it all

My favorite synthetic smelling fragrance along side carolina herrera ch men. The drydown is the best part (amazing) this does have the layton drydown vibe but obviously less dimensional. This does something that keeps you interested.. also the note pyramid is reversed to what you would normally see which i believe keeps the drydown so alive rather than ever a skin scent.. also i would have bet anything that this has pink peppercorn in it.

Edit: It also just dawned on me that the drydown also is reminiscent on kenneth cole mankind hero… but imo way better as it also reminds of layton.. and the mid has spicy whiffs of fan Di Fendi assoluto fragrance i had a while back which smells like Maison Margiella by the fire place

Alright. I'm 24. This fragrance is really nice. However it does cater to younger men. That said, it does it's job amazingly. This is a great scent to wear on a first date with a younger woman. She will love this on you.

Purchased blindly but still unsure how to feel about it. Very first impression was a bit less spicy Layton. The notes I got with the first sniff for some reason were cherry and incense, not vanilla and lavender. But I might’ve been influenced by its colour. I am quite underwhelmed so far tbh since it also really reminds me of JPG Elixir which I just simply hate. Either way, I will make sure to update my review after wearing it for some time.

Notes from the original Valentino born in roma, but i personally think this one has a bit of less sweetness. It's good, but I wont use it.

Got a free sample of this and loved it, ended up buying a 100ml. I only had 3 full bottles and this was good enough to get me to pull the trigger on a full bottle.

To my nose I get straight lavender at first, then it dries down to this super smooth, addictive vanilla with some hints of vetiver. Others have called this feminine, I kind of get what they are saying, it is not a super masculine fragrance as it is sweet but I don’t know if I would quite call it feminine although it is probably better suited for younger guys. Not sure about sillage yet but the longevity is great, sticks around all day. Works great for fall and winter, not sure about spring though, will be testing it out on some cooler spring days.

No, this isn’t unique, but it smells great! If you like sweet fragrances, lavender and vanilla you’ll love this!

Wanted it for a while and finally got it as a gift and I liked it a lot I’ve been wearing it almost everyday since then, it smells nice and lasts long and has great projection in the first 1-2 hours and then it gets weaker, overall a safe blind buy and definitely worth trying

I bought this fragrance about a month ago. It was a very well blended fragrance. But I have a problem with the fruity scent, I didn’t expect it but I just think it should have been in the ingredients list.

share

fumenita

As its name, it is very intense, specially for tropical countries. Vanilla is kind of overpowered, so the sweetness may give you uncomfortable, at least for me. Nice powerful juice, but I prefer to Coral version.

share

Realest Rater 47

Smells 90% similar to guess seductive homme noir. Unless they were side by side I could not tell the difference in the air.

share

Antoshka2

To me this smells very similar to Stronger With You by Armani but a little more sweet. Maybe a little more lavender, I’m not sure what but it’s extremely similar especially at first. It’s more floral and fruity on the dry down. It’s rich, strong and carries very well. You only need a tiny amount as people will still be able to smell this once you’ve already left the room especially in summer. It leaves a trail behind you as you walk too. Definitely unisex, in fact it’s quite feminine for a man’s fragrance. Definitely worth a sniff if you haven’t already.

share

sampaterson97

Bubblegummy vanilla and lavender opening yet still very clean. The powdery accord makes it a great professional scent for school and work. This can also work at night time. Lasts around 6 hours with average projection.

share

In this day and age this was bland to me...and by bland I mean absolutely nothing to distinguish it from the sea of mass appealing sweet fragrances out there

I guarantee if you smelt any recent sweet designer frag then you'll have smelt similar to this

It will get you compliments,it's mass appealing.. but to me I just found it to be kinda boring only because there's Soo many similar fragrances

Best born in roma imo, gets a good amount of hate and many people say the og is better. I strongly disagree, it smells like a really nice soap (not like average bathroom soap, like a really luxurious nice one). Its fairly fresh and its great for year around use. 8.5/10

Really can’t grasp the hype on this one. Just a safe sweet aromatic vanilla fragrance to me, nothing special. The original and Coral Fantasy seem more interesting to me.

share

sodsai

Simple and also complex somehow, Valentino really pulled off one of the best releases of last year. A sweet almost bubblegum-ish opening with vanilla combined with the lavender gives it a deeper herbaceous edge, which gives it the namesake, "Intense". Very playful and works very well on the edgy younger guys who appreciate a modern deep sweetness that isn't synthetic whatsoever. Performance is great and the projection works very well in the air and rooms.

share

guardLK

Not a fan of this one, the Vetiver has a body odor kind of vibe to it. Vanilla BO.

Anyway, credit where it’s due, this fragrance hangs around for a solid 10 funky hours. A first for the BiR line.

share

aidan_fragrance

very nice fragrance, gets compliments, great performance, but definitely a little pricey for what you’re getting. not a lot of depth/complexity in the fragrance. if you want to smell good and get compliments, this is a great option. just don’t expect anything mind blowing.

for me personally, I ended up selling this fragrance due to how boring it was, smells soapy and woody. so boring.

if you need a decently strong office scent that will get get attention but not be up in everyones face, this is perfect.

My take is almost exactly like Hamdii, except that I get a noticable vanilla mid-note. Wouldn't describe it as a vanilla fragrance though. I get tired of sweet fragrances quickly, still making up my mind about this one, and like for Hamdii, something keeps bringing me back, like potato chips!

share

Hamdii

I am absolutely indecisive about how I’m feeling over this fragrance.

I can’t stop wearing it all the time, even though I don’t even know what I like about it or if I even really like it. Something just makes me keep coming back to it.

It’s a nice fresh sweetness, kinda bubblegum sweet but not overly sweet. Then there’s the aromatic, smooth and fresh edge to it that balances the sweetness. To me it’s really versatile, any occasion and any season (except summer, for that it’s a bit too sweet).

My nose can only pin point the lavender in it and then the vetiver in the dry down but only very faint, I don’t get no real or strong vanilla smell from it.

It smells better in the air rather than digging your nose onto your skin.

It’s just a very pleasant and simple fragrance, something that just works. I started to like and appreciate simple fragrances more so this one’s good for me.

share

GoldIris

I don't get the hype around this elixir, longevity is average at best and the scent is basic af. After a couple of hours all I can smell on skin is a faint aromatic woody skin scent reminiscent of the dry down of many basic men's fragrances out there.

Smells very synthetic and cheap after sitting on the skin for a while, also smells like a lot of other fragrances mixed together. This was one of the few times for me that I got very disappointed in the fragrance as it was very generic and cheap smelling. Idk y’all this ain’t it… a lot of other fragrances serve the same purpose as Born In Roma Intense, I would go for something else if you want to stand out.

share

I’m a bit confused by many of the reviewers on the tube stating that this isn’t derivative of the original and some saying they hated the original but like the intense? While there are some nuances to the intense, it’s def not worth owning both. Very similar to the original BIR, if you don’t like the original, I doubt you will like this

share

LeSmeller

I have an original sample and two decants of this. The decants are very similar, but the sample is more mellow and better than the decants, which are way more aromatic, sharper, abrasive even. Basically more lavender, less vanilla. I don't know what it is, different batches, reformulation, strategy, maceration, whatever. The review is based on the original sample.

For me, the most interesting thing about this perfume is its 4.49 rating, which suggests something phenomenal. In contrast, I found the fragrance rather dull and mediocre initially, worth 4.20 if that, but after a few applications I've come to appreciate it a bit more.

It starts as a Christmas-type sweet scent similar to Paco Rabanne 1 Million Elixir. Then, similarly to the base version, it loses much of the sweetness and becomes salty. It's mostly lavender with salt, and vanilla. A bit nauseous, I would say. Somehow it smells like a cross between Armani Stronger With You and Paco Rabanne 1 Million and I'm happy to see those perfumes listed in "this reminds me of".

Admittedly, it's a well balanced and well blended scent. I find lavender generally abrasive. Here, there's just enough of it to make the scent aromatic, and not more. Additionally, the lavender is offset by smoky vanilla. The vanilla makes the scent creamy and smooth. It smells like in Armani Stronger With You - full to the point of being bloated. This aspect is somewhat insipid. There is no outright sweetness. Additionally, the scent is sour, like in Paco Rabanne 1 Million. Not fresh sour, but rather disappointed sour.

Why do people like this perfume? Maybe because it's new. It's also very safe. Nobody will hate it. It's not loud, rather understated, even discreet. It's like a civilized version of Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black, which also features lavender and vanilla, but is rough and raw. Born In Roma Intense is smooth, full, and somewhat sad. It says "I'm ready to be consoled".

The bottle fits the scent, except the spiky things.

I almost never buy fragrances from a department store, but I do like trying things at the counter since they're all on display as samples. That's how I found Uomo Born in Roma Intense. It really WOW'ed me, despite smelling 15 other fragrances first.

I simply couldn't walk away without buying it on the spot. I didn't even mind overpaying, it was such a delightful scent. I'm calling it VUBIRI for short.

Brought it home and have worn it for a few days now. It has a sumptuous fruity opening that transitions to -- if you can believe it -- a PDM Layton'esque vanilla dry down that I simply adore.

Solid 9/10.

SEA Fragrance

A classic example of mass appeal. It smells good.
But if you want to smell good AND stand out, this is not it.
You'll smell like thousands of other people around you who just go for big designers without too much thinking.
But, still, you'll smell good.

From the perspective of someone who doesn't know too much about fragrances, 4.48 score on Fragrantica may seem fair.
From the perspective of someone who's into the fragrance world, 4.48 score on Fragrantica will seem absolutely ludicrous.

Got a sample of this and it's beautiful. I am not sure about it's performance in terms of sillage and projection, but it's longevity is very good. Initial projection is REALLY good, judging by the fact my father with a blocked nose said it's "Very strong perfume you're using". The scent is absolutely fantastic. It's sweet and airy but there is not a single bit of vanilla or lavender that overpowers or causes any scent imbalances. In simple terms, it's a well balanced scent with no notes sticking out like a sore thumb. BETTER GET IT BEFORE THEY REFORMULATE. Might even full buy this some day soon.

One of my favourite fragrance of the year. The lavender and vanilla mix feels extremely smooth on my skin, great projection and longevity, exceeded my expecetations. Lavender opening becomes a smooth vanilla mix at the drydown and i'm loving the smell.

Great versatility imo, probably can pull this off in almost any situation in any weather.

Overall, Born In Roma Intense has become one of my favourites.

Pretty good versatile winter fragrence, it has a slighty bubblegummy opening that goes a away within a hour, and it gets slightly more mature as it dries down but still quite youthfull and is pretty linear with the vanilla taking the main stage for most of the time with surrport from the lavendar and a very small amount of vetiver that is quirte hard to catch. but overall a good linear winter/autumn fragrence that is mass apealing but if you have a alot of fragrences this might not exite you beacause its linear

this fragrence is good for most situations other maybe work because of its youthful/playful nature but if your not too old and has a normal to small collection this a decent buy for a good price(£60-£90)

Tried it few months ago, decided to buy it , out of stock... My lovely girlfriend saw how i was into this fragrance and decided to surprise me with it. Now i have it and i got the chance to use it a few times. Opening feels fruity and the lavender is immediately noticeable which combined smells awesome. But in my opinion what makes this scent unique is the smooth transition from that lavender and fruity scent to that alluring vanilla which lasts almost forever. Also covers every occasion.
Lovely fragrance but still not lovelier than my girlfriend.

Lovely fragrance. Extremely versatile and easy to wear. Main notes listed are vanilla, lavender and vetiver but it also has a fruity bubblegum sweetneess element to it. The lavender is blended very well and comes across very smooth and subtle complementing the vanilla. It is definitely more unisex but the ladies love this one.

#446 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

Rage Coffee makes a "Vanilla Bubblegum" flavored instant coffee. Australian company "House of Candles" actually makes a "Vanilla Bubblegum" body spray you can get on Etsy for $12.87. I can't vouch for any similarity because it has never occurred to me to combine vanilla and bubblegum, or get my fragrance from a candle company, or drink instant coffee for that matter. But if that coffee or body spray smell anything like this I imagine some people will like it. I like it in this scent. But it's for playtime, casual use, date night, not the office. Good longevity and sillage. No regrets about this blind buy at this price.

There's an artist on Deviantart.com that calls themself "Vanilla Bubblegum." They seem to specialize in Japanese Manga style. I think that sort of speaks to this scent.

Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Intense is an aromatic, vanilla and powdery fragrance.

The opening is aromatic, lavender is immediately perceived, perhaps with a fleeting citrus accord, but mainly it is lavender. After a few minutes, you begin to notice the vanilla intensely, with a little wood in the background, and the lavender also in the background, always complementing the vanilla aroma, and it no longer presents any more aromatic turns.

Born in Roma Intense is a warm and oriental fragrance, suitable for use in cool or cold seasons such as autumn or winter, for nights out, outings as a couple, etc.

Its longevity was greater than 9 hours, with a regular sillage.

I invite you to try this fragrance on your skin, since I found the aroma curious, because I first tried it on a blotter or paper and there it had a slightly fruity, sweet and floral smell, but on my skin the fruity chord was never noticeable. I also want to mention that the aroma of this fragrance seems similar to others that I have tried recently, and it seems that the combination of lavender and vanilla is in trend, because I have noticed it in Libre by YSL and The Most Wanted by Azzaro.
In short, it smells good and is pleasant, but I won't buy it.

Very sugary candy like lavender/vanilla. Kind of smells like Prada Luna Rossa Ocean but more syrupy. Bubblegummy and playful. Not bad, maybe a little juvenile. Better than the original but nothing that excites me. Coral fantasy is better honestly.

I bought this beautiful fragrance today and let me be honest with anyone here. This fragrance smells wonderful and it lasts very long. It sticks to the skin and when the air blows you can smell it and it’s just wow. Don’t listen to people here because they got really bad nose and they don’t know quality stuff.

In my opinion very similiarly constructed to 9pm by afnan, but just higher quality and for that reason I prefer this. If you own either one it makes the other one redundant in my opinion. Lasting power is great, over 8hours with decent projection. Though on me I sprayed it on yesterday evening and kept smelling it this afternoon as a skin scent. Testament to its longevity I guess :D

I'm a woman and tested this on my arm today, it's nice enough, but nothing special. I do like that it doesn't dry down to something super masculine, making it suitable for men 25+ and unisex enough for a woman to wear in the evening in winter. Cool weather only, I'm surprised at the spring and summer votes.

In the cooler weather, its more sweet and spicy.
In the warmer weather, its more powdery and earthy.

Quite reminiscent of other designers releases of recently, but more balanced in a smoother and more wearable way. It's not jarringly sweet or spicy, but rather pleasant and easy on the nose. Opening has a somewhat fruity freshness like the rest of the line backed with a spicy ginger. As it transitions, it gets more vanillic with hints of lavender in a semi powdery way. Pretty smooth! As it dries down, there's this woody/earthiness from vetiver but it's not dominant. Imagine the dry down of Eros Flame but subdued.

Good longevity, but moderate projection (which is an advantage imo since it makes it more wearable and versatile).

you can get the DNA of the OG at the very first sniff
the drydown is more of vanilla, sweet, dark.. very same vibe with Million Royal, Le Male elixir and especially Eros Flame
it is totally for colder months, nothing's groundbreaking

This takes the original and give it an aromatic edge. To me, this smells more like Ralph's Club EDP, it is aromatic leaning with the addition of the lavender and you can smell it as soon as your spray it on. Because of the lavender it is also less sweet. Sadly, projection and longevity is tamer than the OG Born in Roma and is an intimate scent despite having the "intense" in the name. For what it is, it has a good scent profile, but I don't think anyone else will be able to smell it on you.

Improvement on the original. Still fresh but sweeter than the original. Women still absolutely love this too, or at least the women I'm around. Strong but strangely doesn't last more than about 6 hours to my nose, on me. It's good, more casual date, evening scent for me but could be worn as a signature or office scent. Solid especially for a flanker 8.5/10. For me so far.

Awesome blind buy with this one. Smells unisex and the blend of vanilla and lavender is pretty addictive. It's sweet but not cloying. Just the same level of sweetness as eros edp or LMLP to my nose. Seems to be pretty versatile and looking forward to trying this in the summer heat. Projection is intimate but longevity is above average. Pretty good compliment getter. Overall, pretty pleased with another valentino offering.

Really like this fragrance, longevity and projection are pretty good. My only complaint is that it opens very feminine for my taste and the feminine scent lingers throughout. Tried this 3 times already and always get the same feminine feeling out of it. Other than that it's a very versatile scent, I'd wear it all year round easily (maybe except for the very hot humid summer days).

I wanted to like this. I really did. Valentino is top 3 designer frags for me...and so when I saw the glowing reviews from the "experts" on YouTube, I ran out and bought a bottle.

However, they really missed the mark with this one. Is it ok? Yeah its ok, but is the hype worth it? No, absolutely not. Take away the designer name and this could be a random $20 fragrance you get at Walmart and no one would have noticed it.

And whats up with Mens frags becoming more and more feminine smelling? Makes you wonder why they are pushing this. Well, if you go down the rabbit hole you will see why.

5/10 - Valentino's worst release.

leroystanks

I’d say it’s no coincidence that a vast majority of the “reminds me of” entires for this are released by houses owned by L’Oréal. They are indeed cashing in the craze of stuffing modern men’s fragrances with sweet and synthetic woods and florals, sugary ambers, and loud amberwood. This is not to say that anything with those components smells bad, but rather it might be getting a little old. Not to mention that these are all being released so close to each other.

Born in Roma Intense is perfectly fine for what it is, if not one of the better releases of its kind. The opening can be obnoxious, but as it dries you get that very familiar powdery sweetness boosted by fuzzy amberwoods. It’s pleasant, but anyone that has a decent sized collection or has been around for a few decades won’t be impressed. But then, this is not who it was made for. This will serve the young gentleman who wants to smell nice for his romantic interest very well. It’s inoffensive and performs wonderfully. I understand the appeal, but this old head doesn’t completely “get it”.

I really like it!
I think it is very well-balanced. Nice aromatic lavender with a hint of fresh spiciness.
The vanilla gives the whole fragrance a sweet powdery nature and is not overly sweet or powdery.
It is very similar to Azzaro's The Most Wanted Parfum, but this is more rounded and better-blended imo. Not as synthetic as the Azzaro. I'm a kind of an Azzaro fanboy so...
If you found this cheaper than The Most Wanted, definitely pick this one instead.

I spray 2 on my neck and 2 on my chest; it lasts long enough for me and is very well projecting.
I don't have any issues with my batch. I might be over spray in the future in colder weather.

This much too sweet for me. I have the original and much prefer it over this. I’ve learned I’m not a fan of sweet scents and much prefer aromatics. Smells nice but very similar to stronger with you and Burberry hero edp that I don’t really need this. They’re all in the same vein

This release is definitely an improvement over Born In Roma. As simple as the notes my be, they have accomplished, at least what seems, to have other notes as well, besides 3. My nose picks up in the vanilla and lavender pretty quickly. It’s powdery and NOT OVERLY SWEET which I actually happen to enjoy a lot. It’s just enough sweetness to lure people in wanting more and I think it does just that. You could wear this any time of the year IMO, but it’s probably going to shine the most in cooler weather.

share

Adsparpar

This is a well rounded & pleasant scent. There is vanilla but it's not overpowering as some green notes keep it light & fresh, so it doesn't end up being too sweet. Although it is intended for men, I as a woman am considering buying it for myself. Initially the silage is strong but it does settle down & is very pleasant. It also seems to have reasonable longevity.

If your just looking for something good to wear and weighing up options I recommend this I've had quite a few in my collection and this easily is just a really good scent it will get you compliments it smells sweet but still has a good base to it and nice performance. It honestly could just be a unisex fragrance however it's more guys will buy it if it says for men on it so don't diss it cause people say it's feminine it's good a guy can wear it so can a girl and both smell nice

share

BananaXango

This smells less feminine than the rest of the Uomo flankers to me and is an improvement over Coral Fantasy and BiR. Not complex, but decently creamy with a forward vanilla note. It isn't groundbreaking and definitely not attention-grabbing. It isn't doing anything that PR Victory isn't already doing better at the same cost. This whole line-up has an identity crisis. Do we really need a half-dozen of these "also soft and sweet, but add or subtract X note" flankers? They're aiming for the middle ground of every market.

share

Napasonoma

It quite funny that this gets a 4.33 out of 5, and the majority of the reviewers hate on it. There are many colognes out there that have simple notes but smell more complex. I really don’t get the bubblegum thing either. For me this smelled similar to Most wanted by Azzaro but a little more Smokey and creamy. This is a great performer and pulls complements. Presentation is very interesting and the atomizer has nice distribution. I see this as a more masculine scent due to the smokiness. I would suggest try b4 you buy, but if you like a Most Wanted type DNA, go for it, this is a little darker and less sharp, and you will like the Smokey sweetness in the dry down.

I have to agree with @PeterD83 below. This just does not move me at all. Too similar to (I can't even count how many) recent bubble gummy/nauseatingly sweet releases in the last few years.

It is not completely horrible. There is some quality behind it. It is definitely better than the Coral Fantasy flanker. But I would not buy a full bottle due to it being grossly unoriginal IMO. And it is just not my personal style. 6.5/10

Sweet, floral, and semi fresh. Not a lot of feedback with this one. People seem to be indifferent to it. This seems to be the case for me when it comes to fragrances I love: the general public is unphased. But anytime I wear something Aventus-esque or blue, they go crazy over it. I guess that's just the plight of being a fragrance enthusiast - your nose will always be more developed than those around you and stuff you like may not be well received. Stuff they like comes off generic or cheap to you. Oh well. I haven't decided whether to sell the other half of my bottle or just continue rocking it anyway. Decisions, decisions...

I didn't expect too much from this but I went ahead and tried it and.....

Wow! This is really good. The vanilla is very prominent to my nose and it's so good! I will absolutely be buying a full bottle!

nfuse

Smells very sweet and aromatic, after notes are also very nice

Much different than the original born in roma. It is a great scent, but isn’t really the same at all.

Just ok for me, will probably return the full bottle. Nice scent but its pretty flat, a bit meh, same feeling I have with the original born in roma tbh. I thought this would be punchier but its not really intense at all, after 1-2hrs I couldn't really detect it around me, I also sprayed on my hand/wrist and it had completely faded for me. Pretty disappointed with this one, the notes are up my street but its a bit disappointing in general. Still it's a pleasant scent might keep just for a dumb reach or will return it and use up the sample not sure yet. I think you can use this during all seasons maybe high heat might be cloying but honestly the freshness does balance out the sweetness.

To conclude its a nice everyday fragrance, sweet, fresh, woody just not really that exciting.. will probably have to over spray a bit to get it to project if thats your thing but its ones that sits closer to the skin. I do like it, but its just ok overall for me personally

To me this scent came off very sweet and also kind of floral. It was pleasant enough and seemed to have strong staying power but it didn’t feel very masculine to me.

Schmellin_Good

Smells to me like the original Born in Roma, Coral Fantasy, and Azzaro Wanted Parfum mixed together. It smells pretty good but is lacking in the quality department. I like the idea but the execution is just ok.

lillyconforti7

Very sexy! I received a sample of this, sprayed it on my hand and it seems more complex than the 3 notes listed. To me it smells fruity and woody; a sweetness that is yet dark. Seems unisex in my opinion but leaning more masculine because of the depth. This would be a head turner!

ThatGothBBW

For being a men's fragrance, I loooove this! I accidentally wore this, not realizing this was a fragrance for men. But my date really loved it!

It's a sexy, fresh, lavender fragrance. And you really pick up on that vetiver. This smells way more complex than the notes listed. The vanilla comes through the more it dries down. Very easy to wear in my opinion. It can be dressed up or down.

This leans a pinch unisex, but still VERY MUCH masculine!

It's really lovley.

Similar to gentlemen society. Smells good but so basic. I’m not interested in basic scents anymore.

This is my husbands second favorite cologne. It’s sweet and cozy. Inoffensive wear anytime anywhere cologne that’s sexy but not too loud. It
Doesn’t project too far so I think it would be nice for the office as well as date night. The notes are simple but well balanced

I usually don’t like super simple and linear scents but man for some reason this stuff is just so good, makes you crave bubblegum with the sweetness, its best for spring longevity’s pretty good giving me around 8 hours and projection with 5 sprays is very good but not cloying, i’d give this 9/10 100% recommend for a designer

TheFragranceVol

So this fragrance takes that away that sharp, mineral feeling that Born In Roma has and adds in some aromatic lavender and a tonka-vanilla combo that starts to come to life as it dries down. The drydown is in a similar vein to something like Versace Eros. I have a feeling this was made to be more of "going out" fragrance, but you can stretch it out way, way farther than this because of the mass appeal that it has.

As with most designers, this is very simplistic, and it's not going to appeal to the guy that's carrying around mostly niche and high end designers. If that's you, don't waste your time here

Funky_Monk1988

This will definitely pull compliments, but i miss the freshness of the original. To me that one is still the best of the whole BIR line

Fragrance snobs hate the Born in Roma line, but virtually every person outside the community loves them. BiR intense smells like if Neiman Marcus sold bubble gum, it’s essentially a smoother/stronger Born in Roma with more depth, albeit less ingredients. Very similar to The Most Wanted Parfum, but different enough to justify the purchase. Presentation is gorgeous as expected. I would say this and Uomo Intense are the overall best fragrances Valentino has made

leatherorrisviolet

So uninspiring. Compare to the original Uomo Intense and it’s night and day. Valentino fragrances have gone WAY downhill. This should have been called Intensely Bored in Rome

solidsergio7

Meh it’s just another release sharing elements with Stronger With You , Azzaro Wanted and Invictus. Nothing to be excited about.
A typical bubblegummy fuckboy scent .

A gorgeous scent that I couldn't stop smelling once I tried it. I tried the edt and this is as it says, a more intense version. It has a bubblegum-sweet scent profile but it is much more interesting than Invictus. If you don't like bubblegum sweet fragrances then you might not like it. I Will buy this soon because I love it so much. Got mine for 20% off, on the Valentino Beauty site.

Synthetic but very alluring and sexy. I see this as date night, bar or fun type setting, but is versatile enough to wear in office (easy on the trigger in office settings) my first wear I sprayed one on my left wrist, and two more shots, front and back of neck. After spraying this I had about 3-4 feet of projection for the first hour and a half.

All in all..nothing ground breaking, but very clean. 8.5/10 for me

SWY opening, then similar to Luna Rossa Sport but with less Vanilla and more Lavender.

the BiR dna is somewhere in there if you smell side to side,

but this takes out the aquatic and fresh smell, instead its sweet vanilla foward
whereas the og BiR is fresh foward, bubblegummy sweet facets, and metallic/sour undertones

you get an opening, mid and drydown,
but the fragrance changes completely in the drydown in my opinion, the vetiver becomes the only thing you can smell, and its a very ashy-dusty, mature vetiver, that i did not like
be careful, make sure you test the drydown on skin if you are iffy of vetiver

Impartial

I've tested it on my skin a few times.
To me, this a closer take on Armani Stronger With You Intensely than the original Valentino Uomo Born In Roma. I get a strong smokey vanilla with lavender. This still has similarities with the original but sweeter, with a "smoky" aspect and a bit powdery.

Projection is fine and longevity quite good. Women seem to like it, it garners compliments.

I personally prefer the original Uomo Born In Roma, but if you like the Stronger With You line (especially Intensely) and Azzaro The Most Wanted Parfum, this is for you.

Blind bought this on release as Uomo BIR is one of my favorite scents, but this was disappointing to say the least. Its a fine scent, if you want a lavender & vanilla generic fragrance. But compared to the original Born in Roma and honestly all the other Uomos as well, this is just Boring in Roma.

Lavender and vanilla combine together to make a great sweet and lasting scent. This one has great projection and great longevity. Compliment getter for sure.

I finally got my hands on this today and I absolutely love it! Valentino is one of my favorite houses and this one may be my new favorite. I love Coral Fantasy, but to me this is a better scent. Sure it’s not overly complex and it’s not as trendy as some of the others but I don’t want to smell like every other guy out there. I want to stand out in the crowd and be different! They market this for cooler months but I think it will work well year round. It’s not overly spicy and the vanilla although has a whisky barrel scent isn’t too warm for spring and early summer.
This would be a great scent for dates, formal events or even as your signature every day scent.
It is intense but it’s not overwhelming. It projects well and people will notice you. If we are honest that’s what we all want, we want people to notice that we smell good otherwise we wouldn’t spend the money. My wife loves this scent and keeps sniffing me when I wear it so that’s a win in my book. I give it a solid 10! The only thing I would change is how nearly every bottle of Valentino looks almost identical except for the coloring of the text. They are not always easily distinguishable in the early morning hours.

Yeah, run quick and go get this. This beat out Sauvage Elixir, Spicebomb Extreme and Tom Ford Ombre Leather at Dillards for me today.

Wonderfull but simple blend of smooth vanilla bean, lavender and spicy wood.

share

soplekongen

A more rounded version of the original, similar to Coral fantasy in the dry down. I think it fits all seasons, and is generally very versatile, with good projection. The longevity is insane, I sprayed at 11 am, and when i woke up the next day I could still smell it on my wrist

share

guigsy1986

Generic and boring. It's a no from me

share

User123

It doesn't project much, but actually has quite the longevity!

share

JamesGamez

This smells like the regular BIR, with vanilla instead of that metallic smell.
I see it’s mostly rated for winter and fall, but I think it would be perfect for spring and maybe summer(?) since it’s a fresh vanilla scent.
This scent is a crowd pleaser and an easy scent for everyday wear.
7.5/10

ChiliOfTheValley

A very simple, yet sophisticated cold-weather fragrance. I think this release leans a little bit towards the unisex side because of the sweetness and its powdery character. Three simple notes: vanilla, lavender, and vetiver in the background. Overall it's a very generic, but definitely crowd-pleasing smell.

EagleNeedle

Short review: I don't like it, it reminds me of 1 Million EDT and that for me is far too generic, obviously I am aware that it is cheap, but still.

Longer review: This is a perfume that is very similar to One Million but in a sligltly less sweet way. I owned One Million just like many others when I was younger and even though it gets new flankers all the time and continues to be popular, I want to say that the opening of Roma intense is SOMEHOW very similar to that of 1 Million Edt and therefore I do not like it.

However as many other YouTube Fragrance influencer have politely told me, this is of course a very mass apealing perfume, and I can understand why they say so. Probably for those who like sweet aromatic fragrances that are generic (in a good cheap way) should consider this.

Candyandy

Kind of a disappointment to me. It feels less interesting and more generic than Coral Fantasy and Yellow Dream. It's still that fresh-sweet scent like the whole Born In Roma line, but I think it doesn't do anything interesting. Worth a try if you like the original Born In Roma but otherwise I'd say you should go with Coral Fantasy that has an interesting apple+tobacco accord or Yellow Dream which has a nice pineapple.

share

Emanuel03

It’s actually really pleasant, it’s sweet with a bit of freshness and it’s very versatile. I think it’s a big improvement over the original born in Roma.

It’s mass appealing and yes it may not be the most unique fragrance of them all, but it’s unique enough for someone who’s not an absolute frag head. This will pull you compliments and I think it is blind but worthy.

Overall I’m very pleased with this release and ended up buying myself a 100ml bottle
Above average, 8.5/10

This is like smatching original BIR and Armani's Stronger With You together and you get this! It's really goooood tho! It lingers greatly in the air but doesn't scream or get cloying which is great! It's like OG BIR has grown up a little and at his mid 20s It lasts quite well, I got solid 7-8h each wear!
