Yes, I know, 30 Hz does not look good. In fact, it's hard to go back to 60 Hz once you've experienced 120 Hz, but 30 Hz could be useful for emergency power saving. (Though since around 2014, it is 0 Hz when nothing is moving on screen.)


As far as I am aware, no smartphone has a 30 Hz option, only 60 Hz and 120 Hz. How to set the screen refresh rate to 30 Hz for power saving in emergency situations? Is there any tool for this purpose? With root, obviously. No root = no ownership. (Yes, I know, powerbanks exist and I already have one (it even has fast charging), but still.)

I am interested in that as well, since my phone actually used to set 10 Hz in power saving mode when image was static a few firmware versions ago, but in the latest version they've raised it to 30 Hz (and 60 Hz when there is animation).
I'd rather lower it back to 10 Hz (or even lower) for the sake of battery lasting longer.
