Anonymous, 10 Oct 2016ip68, infra red, fm radio and at least a 4000mah battery are a mustYeah.
But one problem with those phones is, that they are getting unpredictable.
If somebody misuses the power of that phone (e.g. abuse the video camera), and has actually zero tech knowledge, and also does not know, how dangerous it can be, everybody can hold such a powerful weapon.
Example story:
Somebody gets a Galaxy Note 7, just because it is the newest phone, without even knowing about what it is capable of. (let's forget about exploding)
Then, the power of 22 fps of burst shots, F/1.7, S-Pen, and others belong to him.
Somebody has a Galaxy S2, but knows about the Note 7's potentials. He would know, how fast that camera can be.
I don't know, how exactly I can stress my story, but if I would get the newest phone, and somebody else in my class gets it too, without having any technical knowledge (which would be my huge advantage), but just, because it is the newest phone, I would loose the pleasent feeling of being equipped in a superiour way.
What if only people with more technical knowledge can buy flagships, because they had a license for it? Well, with less knowledge, one is able to use the device in a less powerful way anyway, but still has the same equipment.
But everybody knows e.g. burst shots.
I have a list of over 410 features, that future phones might get. Some of them, that I can remember right now are:
• PMR446
• Access camera settings during video recording (like FDR-AXP33)
• More features, richer user interface MODE for power users, with icons in context menus
• Pressure-sensitive and illuminated body buttons or touch-sensitive metal frame.
• Body TEMPERATURE measurement.
• Air Oxygen sensor (to detect oxygen lack)
• Additional GALiLEO navigation
• 3K (1620p) video recording. (better than 1440p, less space needed than 2160p. But 1440p is a good balance)
• Getting many lost features such as self-capacitive touchscreen layer or MHL (MicroHDMI) back.
• Slow-motion HDR video
• Camera: Set burst speed by dragging the shutter button up or down after pressing it
• Instant shot mode (shoot picture on shutter button push, and not release)
• Camera user interface: permanently show zooming bar + limit me to lossless digital zoom
• Log all possible data into the metadata during video recording (current zoom, focus, focus spot, all sensor data, exposure compensation).
If digital video stabilization is enabled during video recording itself in real time, it needs more system ressources, because the device has to struggle for stabilization. It also cuts off your FoV. With metadata-logging, you could even extract hyperlapses and panoramas off videos!
If you make this phone dual sim?? Kindly make two separate slots for two sim cards and one separate slot for a memory card. Because it impossible to use the two sim cards and a memory card at the same time. Plz keep this in mind.... Thanks...

It has been some rumour that Samsung is ditch s8 home button and look like it may be major change for s8. So watch out for any latest news..
Bring the InfraRed back !!!
It makes life so much better...
Optional, 08 Oct 2016Non-removable battery plays a big part of phone waterproofing.Yeah, AT LEAST, that non-removable battery was not done for „SLIM DESIGN“ or other ridicolous, non-practical reasons by Hyun Yeul Lee (S6 had no „design with purpose“)
+#
The S5 was water-resistant, but the S7 resists a much higher water pressure. But phones like Ericsson Xperia ACTIVE ST17i have multiple protection layers. I am pretty sure, that the S7 could even be more water-resistant, if the SIM/MicroSD-card tray had been protected multiple times. There is just one layer of protection there: http://cdn.thedroidguy.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/19081301/S7.png
Could they not put there at least a thicker or three layers? If there is a small damage on the first one, the second one would filter most water out, and the third layer the remaining water. What if somebody accidentally damaged the first layer during a SiM/SD-replacement?
I think now is a time that samsung must create a much better CPU and GPU. They must work hard to build CPU that are Super Powerful like iphone did. It performaces must be consistent even its getting older. Samsung is beautiful but performance speed is not that good.
And i suggest 700ppi superamoled screen SUHD :D, 6GB ram, 16mp dual pixel and other improvemnt, 8mp fronf all are f/1.6. CPU Exynos 4x 3GHz mongoose & 4x 2.8GHz Cortex-A73, GPU Mali-G71, 3,900 or 4,000mAh. And please optimize the phone so that it will surpass the speed of the iphone 7. And everyone is now waiting for 7s iphone it will bring much change and improvemnt

AzureLord, 08 Oct 2016it's REALY hard to achieve f1.4 aparture. plus. it's an S series. not a note.
I think a fron... moreYeah, Galaxy Note is for power users. Galaxy Note should NEVER sacrifice any practical feature for things that power users do not care about {clean user interface http://m.signalvnoise.com/why-i-love-ugly-messy-interfaces-and-you-probably-do-too-edff4a896a83 ; „PREMIUM“ fragile design ; more free space storage (the internal space storage should be increased to at least 256 GB anyway) ; Hyun Yeul Lee}
On the Note 5 and Note 7, many features were removed. Most of them were removed since S6. I can no longer costumize my camera user interface, and the camera settings are full-screen, which does not allow me to access the camera controls instantly while browsing the settings (camera not on stand-by), and the bight user interface since Lollipop (Note 4 since KitKat) hurts the eyes.

I think a frontie 8 MP and dual 16 MP rear at f1.6 would suffice. with 4000 mAh
Although I do wonder if they will make ALL EIGHT CORES at 3 GHz. or like the current exynos. part 3 GHz part 2.2 for example.

AnonD-589322, 25 Sep 2016DUAL 12 MP camera is WAY better then 16 MP. First, to understand MP (Megapixels) More is not a... moreYeah. Pixel siƶe and aperture plays a huge role. It can also help recording slow motion at high framerates, where the camera barely has any time to capture all those still frames. Additionally, it will reduce the exposure time, without increasing light sensivity. This will reduce motion blur. Have you tried taking a burst-shot a highway with all of those fast cars? They will be barely blurred with an exposure time, which is that short.
In the darkness, being able to capture more light in the same amount of time is full of advantages anyway.

Detail AND smoothness at once!
Space storage? We'll probably get 256 GB of internal memory. And the Note 2017 might also get 8 GB RAM together with LG V30 for ultimate power-users.
sarat meinam, 07 Oct 2016i hope galaxy s8 6", 92% screen ratio, dual 20mp f/1.4 aperture rear camera 3 optical zoom 8mp... moreA dual camera system with three times optical zoom is something, that I also thought about. But this double 56mm-Zoom from Apple already degraded aperture to F/2.8. Additionally, some video modes do not allow switching the lens during recording. However, I am looking forward to the GLORIOUS 2160p@60fps. I was always dreaming about 2160p@60fps. It combines this high amount of detail with smoothness. Ever compared a 30fps video with 60fps side-by-side? You will note a clear difference in smoothness. But combining this with such a high resolution is just glorious.
If we are lucky, we might get a Galaxy S8 with 1440p@120fps and 1080p@240fps and 720p@360fps and 480p@480fps. Those insane framerates could give users great fun.
But what I am really looking forward to is the 2160p@60fps mode. And maybe manual bitrate/framerate settings. Hopefully, they will place the camera into the corner, which allows holding a natural camera grip without a finger in your picture.
I think the technology should change much faster than this. I want to see a mobile phone which can do almost everything. :)
i hope galaxy s8 6", 92% screen ratio, dual 20mp f/1.4 aperture rear camera 3 optical zoom 8mp f/1.4 selfie, shatterproof screen, 4k resolution 3 days' battery.
