A: Rooster Teeth is not immediately shutting down. We have time to wind things down appropriately. Exact dates for when certain aspects of the business will end will be shared as they are able to be made public knowledge.

Q: What's happening to Camp Camp?
A: Camp Camp's episodes will continue to air, with Episode 2 Premiering today and 3 and 4 coming in the following weeks.

Q: What's happening with Red vs. Blue?
A: Red vs. Blue: Restoration, will be released. More information on this next week.

Q: What's happening with RWBY?
A: We are in discussions to find RWBY its new home and believe there are many more stories to be told with this transformative IP. RWBY has expanded into a global force thanks to its community, and we’ve been able to grow the universe across new platforms. For Volume 10, we continue to explore financing partnerships to bring the next season to life and beyond.

It's a shame that Rooster Teeth is going to close..... I really loved RWBY's adventures, normally I don't send these types of messages but you deserve to know about the beautiful work you've done so far. I even had an idea (Crazy) but from what I saw it is possible to do this. This idea would allow us Fans to have "contact" with our favorite characters and this is the introduction of an AI into the series itself (Any series).
For example, in the 1st season of RWBY, you would only have to add a new character (which would be the fan itself) and this AI, after analyzing the photo of that fan, would introduce that character's face, making it follow RWBY's adventures and thus feel close. But that's just a crazy idea since this technology is still very raw.

Have there been any updates on the sunset plans/what is going to happen to content? I keep coming back to look weekly when I click on the site link it just takes me to the home page and I havent seen any news. Im sure its still being processed and figured out but wanted to make sure I havent missed anything big. I have been trying to make sure I rewatch all of my favorite things and new releases as much as I can and Im worried about running out of time.

I knew it. I am just glad that you fellas are discussing and giving RWBY a new home, Even if I am sad that RT is shutting down soon but still happy. It may not feel the same though, I don’t want RWBY to end on V9.😅 GO TEAM RWBY!!!!

I know there is obviously a lot going on behind the scenes right now so I totally get if some things are changing or shifting around. Was just wondering if there is any updates on RvB, unless I missed it wasn't there gonna be news last week?

"How long with the RT store be open" clearly not much longer as all of the product is disappearing and being dropped to less than $1 without any sort of notice. Items that fans would love to have, collectors pieces to keep with us to remind us of the wonderful community we grew up with. I put at least a dozen things in my cart to come back to almost everything on the site being gone, as if it never existed, not even a SOLD OUT page. Managed to pick out a few things, less than $1 worth of product by the end of it, and then charged $17 for shipping. Where is this update we were told we'd get? Really really disappointing and heart breaking.

Being a fan of Rooster Teeth, and all the channels and extraordinary content that you have put your heart and soul in to and the fear that some of the magic that you have created might disappear in to the dark void that is the internet, i was wondering if you would consider selling channel collections of you works.

For instance an Achievement Hunter channel collection that could include ...
- Lets Plays / between the games / play pals / heroes and halfwits / ready set show / lets roll /and other daily videos
But also first shows like ...
- Haunter / the hardcore series's / Theater Mode.

and the same for the rooster teeth channel collection like ...
- Backwardz Compatible / on the spot / chump / animated adventures
first stuff like ... Last laugh / camp betrayal / murder room

And that could go for the other channels like Funhaus, maybe even one just for podcasts.

Just a thought.

I know you have so many thing to deal with and alot of people with questions about whats happening next and i wish you the guys the best however it works out.

We love you all, and it might sound a bit selfish but we want to keep you and your work in our lives for as long as we can.

If you and your team are finding a new home for RWBY, the people on Twitter, RWBY discord and I have three candidates that will continue the legacy of the series.
First there’s Dillon Goo. He is known for animating the fight scenes in Volume 3 and cgi scenes. After watching his animation videos, I believe that he is that right candidate to continue Monty Oum’s legacy. He even made a genshin impact short on YouTube too!
Second is Crunchyroll. I am a Crunchyroll subscriber and managed to watch all episodes of volume 9 weekly from start to finish last year. By the way the series was great! And I enjoyed Ice Queendom in both subs and dubs back in 2022. I would really like to see it on Crunchyroll again.
The last one is A24. I heard that it’s a studio that screens and airs indie TV shows and theatrical movies based on YouTube pilot shorts and independent movie writers. The studio is also known for releasing Hazbin Hotel on Prime Video. If your team wants to continue the series, that studio should be possible.
But what would be greater than one of them is if you have collaborated with all three of them and the story would me more dazzling, serious, funny and epic as the first three volumes of RWBY are. But I understand that you don’t take idea suggestions from fans. It’s just that we RWBY fans want to help you. Please give it some thought.

I'm sure I can't even imagine how much is going on behind the scenes right now, and it would probably be simpler and save a lot of work to just keep it all behind closed doors. I just wanted to say thank you for all the work you do personally, and all the work everyone is doing to help communicate and update the community through this. It was kind of touched on with the stream, but Rooster Teeth really is a special company, and its the things like this that make it so amazing. Thank you all for making RT what it is, and for handling this in the way it's being handled. I've been a fan since I was a kid, and I couldn't count all the times RT has helped me through tough times or just been a joy during good times. I genuinely don't know how to capture how amazing it's all been, even from the outside looking in. Obviously I'm not happy about what will be lost, but I'm looking forward to the time that's left. ❤️

What will happen to FIRST memberships, that is, one-month memberships? Will I still be able to update it to continue being a member, and what will happen to those who have a 6-month and one-year membership?

As someone who became a fan so late. I'm very sad I was so late to it. What brought me into it was AH. Well and my brother who has been a fan for about 16 years! When AH disbanded, I was sad at first but I saw how much happier they all got to work on other things they were more passionate about! My next obsession became IG with Jack, BK and Blizz. I love them so much and their chemistry! I just love RT in general because of that love and family dynamic, trust me when I say it shows! It maybe me feel like I was a part of the family. I'm sad I will now never get my chance to ask for a job and to join the family. But I know ALL of you will move on to more great things!

Jeez, I didn't mean to type all of that. I just really want to know when I might see IG stream again? I am very much hoping they can stick together and keep streaming. And absolutely want them to finish their dnd month!

Again, I love every last one of you! I just watched finished watching the stream from yesterday and I am still so emotional! Keep being your amazing selves!

I hope the podcasts live on in other ways with other backings I would still love to listen to all the chaos and still pay to do so 🤍but for now I will talk what I get and save what I can(legally) just in case

I will miss this family but I will follow everyone I can for as long as I can 🤍😭🤍
