Whenever there is a significant event revolving around geopolitics, we see new hacktivist groups emerge to conduct attacks. The 7 April #opisrael is no different. Several groups like Jerusalem Cyber Army have appeared in the last day to declare their intent to conduct attacks. They either remain active groups long-term, or they are active for days and then vanish. It is worth being aware that when any geopolitical situation flares up, hacktivist activity follows.. It might well be the most reliable cyber threat linked to geopolitical tensions (that we can overtly see anyway) #cybersecurity #infosec #IsraelHamasWar
