It is unclear if this is recent data or not, while the sample does show US government emails, it might be difficult to verify, at least from and open-source angle. While Intelbroker does state it is from a third party, the volume of data and sensitivity is unknown.. Intelbroker has had some successful 3rd-party attacks recently, so the legitimacy is hard to clarify clearly. Above all, take caution with the claim and understand that hype is just as valuable for reputation as the actual stolen data. Intelbroker is becoming a persistent threat to organisations for both exposing data and impacting victim reputations.
