You have no idea how many hopes does this give to fans from artists whose concert recordings were based on myspace. I am a big fan of Amy Winehouse, sadly there are no live performances but I have hopes that if this project happens for videos as well, we ll find much stuff

I am doing this through mobile which is already a poor decision on my part, sadly currently I do own a pc/laptop.

It seems from other comments it does work, however it is slow.

How should I go about diving in this archive?
Is there a way to speed up loading process?
Should I keep it to one word minimum in the search bar?

There seems to be a pretty solid archive of tunes, but it seems like the search function works as you type instead of when you hit enter... and it's SUPER slow to update. Can this be changed to allow you to enter the band/song you want and then hit [enter] to initiate the query?

1.3 TB unpacked, 479k files... If you want to map the metadata to files it'll take a bit of scripting and a lot of time. Well, a few days. I've been running a script that goes through the metadata, writes ID3 tags into files, and renames the hashed names to artist--trackname.mp3. It's now two days in and I'm roughly at 70%, so it's done maybe tomorrow.

ANYWAY, an interesting stash, will probably never listen to all of it but hey, disk is cheap. Most of the music seems to be digitized at 22050 Hz, so no clean highs for anyone. I suppose 96 kbps isn't much of a limitation considering the sample rate.

This is an excellent start to archiving old Myspace music that is no longer accessible.

I'm using this, as well as music from my own searches and purchases over the years, to archive the metal, emo, and alternative style music that took off using Myspace as a platform.

As for the reviewing aspect: Phenomenal work. Wish the Hobbit player was still functional. though it IS 2019 and the computer I am using is....embarrassing. And I'm even sugar coating it.
