Can anyone explain to me why they believe Ye is an Ne dom? I'm genuinely asking. From what I've gathered, people notice Ye's thought processes are very disorganized and scattered, but unfortunately this is not the definition of intuition. A lack of systematizing (when it comes to thought processes) indicates inferior thinking, and the kind of scatteredness Ye exhibits is a textbook case of an over-neurotic SX instinct that drives his trailblazing. I'm sure there are better explanations for Ne somewhere, and I'm completely open to the idea of Ye being a high-Ne type. But as the evidence currently shows itself, he seems self-expressive and sensorily artistic in a way you usually see from ISFPs and ESFPs. Kanye is very very selective in regards to what he considers as valuable to him or worth his time. This inner reservation is not a character trait of an Ne dominant whose goal is the perception of new ideas. Sure Kanye values novelty, but as a dominant fixation is where I disagree. Most boundary pushing things he does are in service of that inner sense of idealism he has for himself as an artist. There is also the fact that Fi is the function that is referenced to be the artistic function that seeks to express one’s inner ideals through artistic forms. I feel like Fi dom has always been the most obvious aspect about Kanye, and that Ne has been widespread for years purely because Kanye pushes boundaries and is insanely creative, but that doesn’t make him an Ne dominant type.
