   Are there contests that train them to think in a nonlinear way?
   Do you have other suggestions for training kids to think in nonlinear ways?
   Isn’t it good if kids can be trained to think in any way, linear or otherwise?
   And doesn’t the ability to think creatively have a big genetic component?

   I don't know how being creative has a genetic component.

    Akhil chose to be in Chicago. He could easily have gotten a position at many other places. So I suppose that unlike a lot of people who frequent this forum, he does not find it depressing to see non-white people.
