I have disabled transition animations in the Android developer tools because they add annoying delays. It is more convenient to see the home screen ready in the fraction of the second I tap the home button rather than waiting for the transition animation to finish.
In the Samsung "My Files" app, however, the transition animation between navigating directories is not eliminated. However, the file renaming window shows instantly without animation.
How come disabling transition animations does not disable all transition animations?
