Hi everyone,
I'm trying to create an RSS feed (and by consequence, a URL for it) for a podcast I'm doing so I can post it to iTunes. I've been looking for the last couple hours for how to do this but I haven't turned up with anything. It's super frustrating.

Can anyone help me with this? My files are hosted on this site, and I also have a Youtube channel which has the podcast episodes posted with video to accompany them.

RSS feeds are based on a search query. Create a search query that returns only the items you want to be in the feed. Then, click advanced search, scroll down and select "RSS format" in the "Advanced Search returning JSON, XML, and more" section just above the "Search" button, then click the "Search" button. The URL that is returned in the address field is your RSS feed URL.

Hope this helps.

create a query that returns just the items you want in the feed then select RSS as the output. the url you get will be for the RSS feed.

hi
thanks for telling me that. I wish I could see the RSS feed button.
Here are the screenshots. I search for Phil Blecker, then I get his folder where his files are and I don't see RSS feed anywhere. I'd like to play these files getting the RSS feed. I want to put them on ITunes so I can listen while I drive. It's easier than having them on my website as a playlist.

rss feeds are for items, not files within items. so an rss feed would just have the two items shown in your 2.jpg

oh, ok, so I can't use it to put mp3's in an ITunes Podcast. That;s too bad.
How can I add all my mp3's in this one folder though? Eveytime I upload more mp3's it creates a different folder.
I'd like to keep all the mp3's in one folder/collection

you can if each track is its own item.

once you upload loose mp3 files use Edit > change the files to drag them into the directory you want them to be in.

hi Jeff
the only way I see I can do that is If I go to Edit>change the files>Add a file.
There is no way to drag anything from a different place even if the item is its own item (not in a folder) because the other folders don't show up above or below the Tree Root.
It would be nice to combine all the media folders I have into one big folder containing them. I'll just have to upload the files one by one.
It's ok, I'll just do that from now on.
Thank you.
