Haidilao (海底撈), which used the chili powder for its "spicy duck blood” that was sent to 16 branches across Taiwan.
Food importer / distributor Bao Hsin Enterprises imported the chili powder from Henan-based
Sanhe Drug Co (三禾药业). Bao Hsin Enterprises will be fined NT$2 million (US$63,335) for failure to immediately inform downstream companies to initiate a product recall.
